Some room for improvement

The only negative thing I can really say about these is that the edge around the point at which they contact the floor is sharp and could damage hard wood floors which have slight imperfections in them if they are accidentally slid across the floor. If that edge at the bottom were rounded off it would prevent that from being an issue. Even better, I feel like these could come with thin rubber pads glued to the bottom of them. Other than that they seem solid and they get the job done.

Not for hardwood or laminate flooring

For some reason I was under the impression they were rubberized. These are plastic and slide on hardwood or laminate flooring. I would recommend for carpet use only

Plastic and kind of slick, will fit into the round brown rubber casters on 2x2, bump up to 3.5 stars for that. Very nicely made, look great, they function okay. Between 3 & 4 stars. Not better than 4.0 stars. Not bad.

for couch and chair on carpet

needed something to keep the small pads on the couch from digging into the new carpet. i am heavy so it takes abuse. these are strong enough and offer a bigger pad so it will do less damage to the carpet. on the glider chair, they are almost not even noticeable (carpet is normal 3/8"-1/2" pile). they have no adhesive. hard plastic only. they do not slide easy so don't expect that.

Probably my fault but...

It didn't work for my application. Used it under speaker pegs so I could slide my speaker/s around on the carpet. They stayed in place while I slid the speaker across the carpet; right-off the coaster... errr
