LOVE!

I bought this for the fact that you could use regular trash bags and it seems larger than other types. I love it! It holds so much more than the “diaper genie” brand or knockoffs like the DG. I saw lots of complaints about not being able to get the drop down button to work but you just have to push down a little harder than you’d expect and it works fine. I’ll definitely recommend this over and over! Also, haven’t once had an issue with smell escaping while closed.

Works great but...

We love this diaper pail! It locks in the stench of our son's rank poops. However, the way the drop chamber door opens inhibits the ability to use it until it is completely full. The door flaps down into the diapers so it makes it impossible for the diaper to freely fall into the bag once it gets about half full. We always have to force it down by pushing it in with our hand. I've always told my husband that I wish it just retracted open horizontally rather than flapping down vertically. Maybe an idea for product improvement *ahem @skiphop*

Useful product

Love that has the extra basket to store diapers, but arrived with some hits in the body. Also it tends to smell after a couple of days

Works as it should

I saw some people complaining about how the diaper don’t fall down. I never had that problem, but my husband says it always happens to him. I noticed it’s because he either pushes the button too slow or he pushes it so fast that he doesn’t push it all the way down. I push it fast and hard hold it down for maybe half a second?? I’ve never had a problem with it & I’ve been using it for 8 months now and it works great for me.

Almost a great product

I love that I don't have to buy special bags for this diaper pail! It's the entire reason it caught my eye! Plus the little storage center on it! However... the part that drops and seals the top off from the trash could use a little rework. It doesn't open far enough to let the diaper down a majority of the time. I have to shake the trash can to get the diaper to shimmy down. It also doesn't seem like it seals off very well. It tends to smell after a BM and I feel like we change it more often because of smell rather than it being full. The locking mechanisms on it are great though. I dont worry about little fingers playing with it or dumping it!

Absolutely love it

I loveeeee this garbage can. We have a small space and this garbage can is narrow but fits a lot of diapers actually and does not smell at all! I love the organizer space on the garbage can and can fit all of our essentials (wipes, diapers, ointments, lotion, etc). Also love that you can use a normal garbage bag and it is easy to take it out.

Disappointing

Brilliant idea and I love skip hop so I wanted to ignore the other reviews but it really doesn’t contain the smell and it’s a bit of a pain to clean too. Disappointed as I really wanted to like this, I hate the fiddly little ones but unfortunately it’s just no good at containing the smell.

I monetized this for my mother now 88. This product can also be called an "Adult Underwear Closet." For folks who use support aids Depend or Always Incontinence Underwear. It is just the right size for a small bathroom. It has a Tray for thing s like wipes and you use tall kitchen bags in it. I ordered Hefty Gripper Tall Kitchen Trash Bags - 13 Gallon, 80 Count on amazon.ca Very secure assembly from any fragrance and best of all it does not look like a diaper pail. A very nice appropriate design. The cost is well worth getting it. Make someone happy today.

don’t waste your money.

in theory this diaper pail is great, however, The bottom of the airlock is a sticky material so diapers just get caught and you end up pushing the button to dump the diaper over a dozen times which just fans the poop smell all throughout the room. most of the time you have to push the air lock button and then jam the diaper in by hand. 100% not worth the money. does not contain the smell what so ever.
