Tread wears out fast but still comfortable and versatile.
These shoes were comfortable and useful on trials but only for about a year. I didn't expect a lot from these shoes except a wider possibility that they would be comfortable coming from Sketchers - noted for their wide range of wide fitting shoes. And the comfort was delivered. I did expect them to last a little longer than a year. I used them mostly for trail walking/hiking on average about one or twice a week and after only 15 months, they have lost enough tread to make them troublesome/dangerous on some sandy, slippery trail hikes. I have had shoes that lasted 5, 10 years in the past but maybe in this era of harmfully disposable lives a year is becoming the norm

Comfortable but Fragile
I purchased the previous version of these and they were bomb proof - took everything I threw at them. These next gens are cheaply made. Very comfortable but also break easily.

Defect
I love the sneaker. This is my 3rd pair in 5 months. I would have given it 5 stars. But when I put one on, the eyelet pulled out. This was right out of the box. The replacement was going to take 5 weeks. So I returned them and purchased a pair from Walmart for 1/2 the price.

Perfect Fit, Every Time
I purchased a pair of Skechers Men's Escape Plan Oxford sneakers while in Germany about eight years ago. They were everything I wanted in a sneaker - support, comfort, and some weather protection. They fit me perfectly and have lasted an incredibly long time given that I wear them daily. I found the exact same sneaker on Amazon and decided to give them a try. They fit exactly the same as when I purchased them eight years ago. So, not only are they a great sneaker, they have probably (I hope) been manufactured to the same great standard as when I originally purchased them.

Great value and extremely comfortable shoe - I have wide fitting normally but these shoes fitted like a glove. As the shoes were just what I wanted I decided to pay for them on the day I received them. BAD MISTAKE - down side on the try and buy is that I have had nothing but troubles trying to pay for the item. Keep getting there is a problem with payment even thought I have accessed my bank and authorisied payment. OK for a few mins then it comes back again that I need to update my payment. Tried calling helpdesk but gave up in the end as I was getting nowhere. Next time I'll wait the full 7 days before paying

Son loves them
Bought for my son for not too cold days and they are waterproof. A bit warmer than a runner, but has good treads. Great purchase.
