WOW! JUST WOW! LOVE IT!
This liquid soap is wonderful! The scent is light and pleasing to both my husband and me. It is a dark brown, and washed right out of a mesh bath sponge, but the color seems to stay in a regular wash cloth, so there's that. But beyond that, it is amazing! It has tiny beads for exfoliating that you don't feel at all, so not scratchy. But it leaves my skin sooooo beautifully hydrated it is astounding. It's almost like I've already applied lotion! My husband has delicate skin with eczema and it's been great for him too. He's also uses their bath bar and face bar and likes both of those too. He still uses the face bar and it's really greatly helped his face with the eczema. This soap is just fabulous. We will be using it now forever!

I have been using this product for years. It's wonderful.
I love so many products from Shea Moisture. This one specifically smells so lovely. A lot like a light baby powder scent. It exfoliates and helps to provide a good amount of hydration. There is a reason that I don't use other body washes. My favorites are the Super fruit complex, African black soap, and lavender and wild orchid all smell really wonderful.

Great scent and nice size!
I did decide to keep this. The scent is really nice and this is a 13oz bottle, so it will last me for a while. I will be first testing this out on my face, and then for regular showers. Though my skin is oily, I feel like I can benefit from this. There is a fairly nice lather to it, so that is always a good thing! Looking forward to trying this out and seeing what happens!

Microplastics
I wish I had known that this product is filled with microplastics, I would not have bought it had I known. I searched all over the bottle and descriptions online and could not find out what these “exfoliating beads” are made from, so I can only assume it’s microplastcis, which are terrible for the environment. I buy products such as Shea Moisture because of their cleaner ingredients that are better for the body and the earth than traditional products, so I’m surprised to see such a thing in a more conscious product. I used to buy Shea Moisture’s African Black Soap body wash years ago and I don’t remember it having these “exfoliating beads”. I think I would have noticed because this wash is absolutely FILLED with them! I put my body wash into a dispenser and now I’m afraid these beads are going to clog it up. The scent is lovely and it has the nice smooth feel that I’ve come to love from years of using various Shea Moisture products, but sadly unless I find a version without the micro beads, I likely won’t be buying this particular one again.

Leaves no residue, unlike the bar
Love the black soap, hated the way it made my shower look after it got about halfway used. No more black spots that needed to be scrubbed out.

The best for sensitive skin!
This is the only thing I’ve been able to use for about 15 years, with no problem! When I was a teen, I started getting this red, angry rash - that made me so uncomfortable and itchy! - all over my body after showering, and went through dozens of body wash products, trying to find something that wouldn’t trigger that. This is the ONLY thing that’s ever worked for me. I recently tried something else (wanting to try something new), and it left me, AGAIN, with a red, angry rash. Please don’t ever stop making this!

Love the smell
I really like the African black soap smell, I have also used their raw shea butter body wash which is slightly sweeter smelling but like the black soap more. Neither are over powering. I don’t know what it is but this one has porous bits in it that slightly exfoliates while you use it.
