If you want a mattress topper, get this one!
BACK STORY: I purchased this for a futon I keep in my nursery. At first, I used one of the thicker, cotton ones and while that was comfortable for a while, eventually it just got too flat to do anything but serve as a cover. As my babies got a little older and discovered jumping on the bed, they basically ruined some of the supports and springs so it would sag or you'll feel some of the wood frame dig into you. Needless to say, it was uncomfortable and I'd wake up in pain if I slept in it (it's temporary furniture until the kids sleep through the night so I don't want to get rid of it yet) Eventually, I just couldn't take it anymore and looked online until I discovered this topper. I thought given the good reviews and competitive price to other 2 inch ones, I'd give it a try. I HAVE NO REGRETS (so far)! I slep well now and do not wake up in pain or sore anymore (I'll update the review if that ever changes, this will eventually go on the guest bed). Honestly, I wish I got it sooner. ABOUT THE TOPPER: Personally, I do not find it to be hot and neither do my kids when they sneak in (and they do tend to get warm easily). It's comfortable, and soft. If you prefer a firmer topper/mattress, this is probably too soft though. I don't think I would say it's necessarily "cooling" but, as I said before, it doesn't make me hot either. It will retain shape for a little while (a few seconds really) and then it'll slowly go back to normal. Opening there was no unusual or chemical smell; it just smelled like foam, but after leaving it on the bed with the ceiling fan on to vent, even that was gone within a few hours. Definitely pleased with this purchase.

I don't leave reviews unless I'm blown away. This serta copper "2" deserves a review. I like plush beds so I spent a lot of $ on a Stearns n foster "ultra plush" Cassatt bed.. it wasn't amazing or as plush as I expected it to be and if that's as good as it gets for their line I was inclined to suck it up and sleep in less than stellar expected comfort. I decided to buy this as a mattress topper to hopefully give me that plush comfort and this is exactly what I have been looking for! It's soft and luxurious feeling. It cradles you slightly with softness but it still gives you support so your not just sinking in. When you roll over the memory foam goes back to its shape. I didn't even need to get the extra thick topper to feel like the amazing comfort which was great:) great quality product????

You can't go wrong with this mattress topper! I'm 270 and have a really bad back. I need a firm mattress with a touch of softness- this is the answer! Best sleep I've ever gotten! Highly recommend!

Great mattress topper!!
Came in box easy to unpack. Let it rise for 8 hours to get full capacity. At first it looks mangled and only an inch high. After 8 hours it’s great! Very comfortable and helps with anyone with a mattress that may not be as effective as it once was

Actually expands like it’s supposed to
So I bought another memory foam topper that after 5 hrs was still as flat as when unwrapped. Looked like it was melted so returned it. This one came in a zippered fabric like case ( will use to store comforters, so thanks) and rolled in shrink wrap. It looks fully expanded after an hour. I think it will be perfect. I had a serta all memory foam mattress previously but it stopped giving me the needed support after 2 yrs. I bought a hybrid mattress to replace it, but the pressure points are killing me after about a year with it. I was able to rip a piece of the gel foam from the top of the old mattress ( planning to make my dog a bed) but tried on top of my hybrid and it’s what I need, so ordered this topper. Fingers crossed but expecting good results. I guess order from a mattress company that knows what’s it’s doing! Kohls wanted $200 for a queen - on 50% off sale.

Comfortable but Slides Around
This topper is great! Soft and comfortable. But it moves around on the mattress a lot. Granted, I did buy it for a13 year old boy who is quite active.

Bought for my fold away Murphy bed. It is the perfect height and adds just the right amount of softness and support. Very happy with this product.

Falsely advertised as memory foam, and it’s so hot to sleep on!
I have personally purchased memory foams over the years, and this is DEFINITELY NOT A MEMORY FOAM. The foam even bounces back immediately when I move around. It’s just a very thick and dense foam that is VERY HOT TO SLEEP ON. It’s so hot that even if the room is so cold, my back would be sweaty even if the rest of my body that is not touching the foam is already freezing. It also doesn’t come with any form of cotton or linen cover like other mattress toppers do. They just literally sent a foam wrapped in a plastic then squeezed in a box. Had I known that they will send us a regular foam, I would have been better off buying a regular foam that is actually priced as a regular foam, instead of buying a REGULAR THICK FOAM PRICED AS A MEMORY FOAM.
