Good for the Price

Good for the price, the wire stripper isn't great and occasionally doesn't grip wires well enough to actually strip and just compresses the wire. Rotating the cable and trying again usually works, since I just use this for hobby work it's fine but if I needed one for work I'd get a different one.

Good strippers, okay cutters, terrible crimpers.

Buy these for the stripping and maybe cutting features but definitely don't purchase for crimping. There's too much play in the handles, so they don't meet in the middle to bite down and crimp properly. Think of it like trying to cut paper with worn out scissors that have too much spread between the blades. It doesn't work. The stripping feature is like any other though and that's fine. They weren't super expensive so having them for just that is okay to me. It's not really a precision tool but it grabs the wire and pulls the insulation off good enough for my needs. It gets shoved in a connector and crimped/soldered/melted anyway. I bought dedicated crimpers for the important of task of smushing connectors.

Dead simple

All my long life I've had trouble stripping wires. Either I cut or nick a few of the metal strands, or I cut myself if I'm not careful with the blade. This tool ends that. No matter what size wire I've tried, it is dead simple to use--put the wire in the slot at the place you want the strip and squeeze the handles. Done. Wonderful tool, it does the one job extremely well.

Better than fingernails

Complete amateur here. At first I couldn’t figure out how this works but I just needed to look at the pics on this webpage to figure it out. It’s super easy and much more efficient and less painful than stripping wires with your fingernails. ????

Too heavy

Too heavy. I’m sure if you use this on a regular basis your muscles will be strong enough to hold it long term to complete the task at hand for me even as I do not use this product much or very long it still feels too heavy
