wooden spoon, 14 inch

-this is a very crudely made thick wooden spoon; by using an electric sander and hand sanding, this can be turned into a decent spoon,... so if you're looking for a fun little project, maybe buy a couple of these and have the kids sand them into useable spoons! fun! If you're looking for a good wooden spoon from France, i would suggest looking elsewhere... i agree with someone else's review in which they questioned this spoons "France" pedigree,... maybe it flew over France on it's way from China? I ended up sanding France off the handle in my sanding flurry :/

Looks like it was made by hand and not totally finished

It will serve my purpose, but it looks like it was made by hand and not fully finished. The head is oddly shaped and not smooth around the sides or on the back.

Completely rigid

There is zero bend or give in the spatula. Thus it is impossible to use for flipping a pancake in a fry pan. You might be able to use for getting a cookie off a cookie sheet though. Would return it but for the low price it is not worth my time and Covid exposure in a post office.

Perfect big pot spoon

I love the versatility of this spoon. It's great for building a big pot of soup from scratch, for making a big batch of tomato sauce, or slow stewing some beans and pork. The slanted edge for scraping up anything sticking along the edges or the bottom, the rounded spoon works great around the sides of your pot, the slots allow the liquid to pass through the spoom gently while stirring to reduce splashing, the long handle means you don't lose your spoon in the pot somewhere. It's lightweight but very sturdy. Fantastic utensil.

Short, junky and not as pictured.

Junk. Not at all as pictured. Bought 2 both are short (one is 17.25”, the other is 17.5”) with a small head that looks like it was whittled by a child in the dark. What a total joke. I would return them but they’ll probably just end up in the dump.
