Super comfy and large hood but shrunk even on cold

I have been wearing this jacket since I got it and I love it! I ordered an XL for an oversized fit and a larger hood to cover my hair when it rains. It's pretty warm so it's not really a "light" jacket in my opinion but perfect for inside when the ac is blasting on warm days! The only problem I had with it was that I washed it in cold water and it still shrunk quite a bit but that may have been from the dryer but it was still a bit damp when I took it out. I mean it was on sale for $18 so still worth the purchase!

Fine

This is a standard sweatshirt. Doesn’t shrink in the wash. I wanted a sweatshirt that felt like I was wearing my husband’s clothes. It’s a big smaller than I was expecting. In women’s I wear a M/L so I ordered a L. But it’s still kind of small.

My favorite hoodie

This is my favorite hoodie out of all the rest. The inside is incredible soft and so far after 2 washes has held up. I decided to size down based on the size chart and got a large and the fit is awesome. (I’m about a 46 inch chest and a 38 waist for size comparison). It’s great fitted feel that I can put it under coats to add layers. It’s also great on its own. I wash in cold and no shrinking. It did come with a few loose threads so I removed 1 star but seems durable so far. Good price point and way better than the ones I got from target that cost more. Definitely b than the paper thin ones from Walmart. I will probably get another one when the time is needed so far it’s the best one iv found for a good price.

Finally!

I've tried 3 different full zip hoodies at this price point and this Russell is hands down the best. After a warm water wash and thrown in the dryer it fits great. The wrist and waist bands stay snug. It did shrink a little but not to much. I think everyone expects a hoodie to shrink a little. The best part is it shrank proportionally. If you're like me you want a hoodie you can just throw in the washer and dryer without having to worry about it coming out fitting differently. I'm 6'1" 190 lbs with an athletic build and the XL is a perfect fit after a wash and dry. If you like a looser fit like an XL Carhartt, I would go with a XXL Russell. I have both and I like how the XL Russell fits perfect. My XL Carhartt fits a little baggy.

Good quality

Fit exactly as expected. The quality feels really good. Just got it and have only worn a few times, but feels like it should hold up for a long while. Pleased with this purchase and my hubby is to!

Such a good hoodie...

Back in the 1980s, I loved Russell Athletic. Great quality and value. Then they disappeared (or at least they did from my life). These hoodies remind me of the ones back in the day - super comfortable, thick, and overall great value. I'm wearing mine in Canadian Fall with a brisk wind and the temperature around 9 Celsius and I'm warm. They are made in El Salvador, which is the only negative thing I can see - not that they are made in that country, but I figure they were made in the US/Canada back in the 1980s.

Good thick quality sweatshirt but it is too loose

I am 6 ft and 210 lbs and size XL was what I ordered. It was way too large. I should have ordered a size L which gives me a fit look (slightly loose). Unfortunately, they did not have a size L and the color I wanted. So I returned it. But overall it is a good quality thick heavy sweatshirt for the price.

Great hoodie!

I bought this for my 6'4", 195lb teenage son. He loves it. I got him a large. Fits great in the torso - not fitted and not baggy - its flattering. Arm length and body length is great too (he's tall so sometimes hoodies are too short). Comfortable and the color looks great. Exactly as in the photo. The quality looks and feels better than a lot of the name-brand ones I've gotten him that are 2-3X more expensive.
