My kid enjoyed the costume was comfortable and like good

The sizes chart was not correct. I advise to Order one size smaller other the costume is very nice

Different than description

This Captain America costume is actually pretty good and better than expected. We've had a couple of Rubie's costumes in the past which were duds, so I was a little apprehensive when I saw this, but my son wanted it. We ordered the small, which fits him perfectly. My 6-year-old is about 47" tall and is just shy of 50 lbs. This costume is officially liscenced, so no "Mr. America" or "Captain Patriotic"; this is the real deal. The costume is slightly different than what's on the product page. It includes a jumpsuit and a mask. There is no belt, and the pants are normal and don't have the boot covers. Fortunately, my son has some boots that look good with this. This costume DOES NOT include a shield.

No complaints!

I used the sizing chart and measured my son. The sizing chart was accurate and it fit my son great. He absolutely loved the costume. I thought the mask was a little cheap and showed some blemishes but my young son didn’t care.

Recommend but neck is itchy

My son loves the costume. Seems well made and will be perfect for Halloween. However, (as another reviewer stated) the part that goes around the neck is itchy/uncomfortable and made of a different material than the rest of the costume. When my son took it off I put the neck band against my own neck, and it feels like tiny barbs are scratching the skin. We have plenty of time, and I don’t mind sewing a small piece of fabric to the backside of the neck area. Wouldn’t be a dealbreaker either way, but it would bother me if I was wearing it. But otherwise great costume. For size-I purchased medium, he is almost 6 (tall for his age and broad), and and it just fit him, but not tight. Large may have fit a little better, but for a “one time wear” the medium works.

Sizing completely wrong

This item is fine for what it is. However, if you order these Rubies costumes, please be aware the sizing is completely wrong. According to the item details the Large size is for 8 years old. Not true. Not even close. More like teen of 14-15 years. I even re ordered just in case the wrong size had been packed. Had to order the Medium in the end which wikk be outgrown in just a few months
