Rubbermaid Commercial FG757588YEL Downpress Wringer for WaveBrake Buckets

I own a commercial cleaning business and finally had to replace 2 all metal downpress wringers that have been in our service for more that thirty years and served us very well. I have been using these downpress wringers for a few weeks now and am very happy with the performance! I use one with a Wave Break bucket designed for this unit and the other with a bucket that is large enough to handle these puppies. These units are larger than my older ones so just beware that you may not be able to use this unit with your existing bucket due to the size, Purchasing this unit with the WaveBrake bucket may be a wise choice as I believe you can purchase as a combo. I prefer the downpress to the sidepress because it renders a drier mop. Just my preference after 50 years in the business. I have not been disappointed so far! Lets see if it lasts 30 years!!

Good, but did not fit

It squeezed water out well, but did not fit my wave break bucket. I had to cut out pieces with a multi-tool in order to make it fit.

No hook on top left to hold mop handle

If you look at the pictures of the product it shows a hook on the top left to hold the mop handle. That was the reasoning for me purchasing this, as I have one without the hook. Everytime I move the mop bucket the handle falls over. I'm not one for writing reviews but I was very disappointed to see it come this way and now I have to return it. I didn't see anyone else comment on that so I figured it had it.

Best wringers but Rubbermaid is no longer making! And price is very high. But worth it.

Disappointed

Handle for Side Press is either too short or bent at too great an angle. Causes wringer body to be too close to hand/handle while squeezing mop. Also, mop handle during squeeze ends up in the path of the squeeze out (handle).

real professional tool

love this thing. glad i got the down press. you can put much more force and therefore wring much more moisture. great for big, but finicky hardwood floors. PRICE TIP: i paid $35 because i mixed and matched bucket and wringer colors. CHECK FOR DIFFERENT COLORS BEFORE YOU PAY TOP DOLLAR!!
