Boots are perfect

Bought these for my 5 yr old daughter who is queen of destroying boots. These are perfect and have held up for months now!! They are still water proof and an over all nicely made boot. Sizing was right on. She gets her "cowboy boot" look that she wants and can still play in the puddles. Will buy more! Wish there was more color choices but I'm very happy, no complaints.

Great grip and high quality full grain leather.

Absolutely love these boots! They are gorgeous. Very high quality. You can smell the leather right when you open the box. The boots are really thick material, but not too heavy. They are really easy to put on and my daughter loves them! I wanted to get my girls some boots for when we go out quad riding that would be easy to get on, but keep them protected. My daughter has had 2 encounters with rattlesnakes while we hike a bit after our rides and we want to take precautions with some high rise, high quality leather boots. I couldn't be happier. I ordered 2 pair, one in purple and one in teal. The sizing is really big. I would highly recommend going onto rockyboots.com and reading the size chart and then measuring your child's foot. I had to order a full size smaller than normal. The toe does come out a bit, so they might look big as well. But as long as the widest part of the foot is comfortable then your good to go. The best thing about these boots are the grip they have on bottom, you could do some serious play without worrying about your child slipping like I regular cowboy boots. I am so thrilled with these and above all else, my daughters say they are the most comfortable shoe they have ever worn!

Great buy

These are very well made. I wear a size 5.5-6 in women’s. I bought a 5. They are about half a size too big and I had lots of heel slipping. I bought dr schols inserts and they helped take up some of the extra room. Not enough though. I have ordered a 4.5 directly from the company but they keep getting back ordered. The boot is made very well and I’m super happy that it’s waterproof. I will continue to buy these and hope to find the perfect for one day.

Nice boots, glad I purchased them. Love the rubber soles. Perfect for young kids while at the barn. Keeps the toes clean and free from bugs or any other creepy crawlers.

Very sloppy fit

I ordered these for my 9 year old daughter, we are avid trail riders and enjoy much time on our horses. Shes not a complainer, she said they fit well and frankly, they're pretty. While out on the trail, she rode out a couple of hard bucks (yes she was wearing a helmet), then came off the horse (no, she wasn't hurt). I ran up to her, and discovered she was literally bucked out of her boots. She put her boots back on, remounted her horse like a trooper, and we rode out of the woods. When we got home, I got curious... I have little feet, she wears pretty much the equivalent boot size to me, so I put these boots on my own feet. I was absolutely shocked at how little arch support they have, and the way they are built there is no "hug" at the ankle and top of the foot to keep them on. I flipped both of them off my feet with a light kick forward with my leg. These are definitely not a boot made for working, much less riding in.

Nice, but...

Nice boots, but none of my boys pant legs will fit over. All of his pants are boot cut but still don't fit.
