Better for tender skin

After using regular tape I was left with a nasty sore where the skin was removed with the tape. This works great, stays in place but is much kinder to the skin when removed.

Alternative use: providing support in unusually shaped dresses

I read something on a blog about using this tape to hold things in place in a wedding dress. I ordered some and practiced - success! Used it on my wedding day, which was in June and pretty darn hot - no issues with the tape coming loose. My "bra" was entirely made of this tape and I also used it to hold down the inevitable back fat that results from a strapless dress. I know this is not the intended use of this product, but it will be my go-to for those dresses that don't work well with traditional bras. (Note - the strategy is similar to Kim Kardashian's gaffer tape trick but personally I think it works much better and is way more comfortable and natural looking.)

Unsure if I got the right tape or not due to box being different

Having had a reaction to the regular rocktape I ordered this to try. However the box doesn't look like what Amazon has for product image but does say 1. Gentle on it. But nowhere on the box calls it Rock Tape RX. Will try it anyways once the rest of my skin irritation heals

Does Not Irritate Sensitive Skin

I am so glad that RockTape has tape for sensitive skin - my chiropractor used the original tape on me, and my skin blistered and became itchier than mosquito bites. Now I use the RX Sensitive Skin instead with NO issues. It's easy to use and leaves no irritation (take it from me, I have very sensitive skin)!

Good quality tape, still mild skin reaction

Overall the product was fine. I liked the material it stayed on really well and it was easy to use. But...I did get a bit of a skin reaction from the adhesive. I was hoping this one would be better for my skin and it was slightly better, but still got a mild reaction.

Good for short term use

This tape works fine for a day, but it’s not waterproof or very durable.

The best tape ever!

My massage therapist used this on my sciatic nerve pain when I was pregnant and it saved me from having steroid injections. She showed my husband how to use it on me in between sessions and it helped a great deal. I’m glad to review this product.

My skin is still too sensitive

I purchased this tape to use while pregnant for abdominal support (at the recommendation of my PT). Unfortunately my skin reacts to hospital grade bandages/tapes, and it reacted to this tape as well.

not enough tension

The tape is too thin and it is difficult to apply sufficient tension to the affected area by stretching the tape enough.

Worked fine

Got this as it was more suited for sensitive skin, which meant it comes off a bit easier and therefore isn’t as supportive long term. Had to change it every two days, but I was able to peel it off like a cross between a plaster and a wax strip. Better than a rash! Used it over my knee cap for a grinding injury due to continuing to run with a misalignment caused by tight muscles and a gluteal weakness.

Excellent for use in pregnancy!

This tape pretty much held me together throughout my 2nd pregnancy as I was suffering a lot with SPD/PGP (used in conjunction with regular massage and chiropractic care). I'd had allergic reactions to a few different tapes previously and tried the Gentle Rock tape on a friend's recommendation. I used it until about 34 weeks gestation when I had another reaction to this one unfortunately, but put this down to changes in hormones and due to how much my skin was stretching (hence 4*). I used it alongside medical adhesive remover to help clean the residue off when applying/reapplying the tape.
