Use in my food trailer
I use a 30 amp 120 v cable in high AC output terminal to power my Electrical box on my food trailer. It handles all my refrigeration and warmers while traveling. It also can handle the rooftop Air conditioner at the same time. I use it with 200ah batteries and 400W Solar on the roof for several hours before having to turn on the generator. I'm buying a 2nd one for the house.

La calidad vs. precio.
Se tardó mucho tiempo en llegar. Mi proyecto de energía renovable se atraso un poco.

Better than expected
I purchased this to replace an Aims inverter charger that died after only 3 yrs. Build quality is good, but the USB port does not work. Very quiet. CON: needs Bluetooth connectivity this day in age not an external monitor. I feel it is a bit overpriced for as many other products are on the market. I would purchase again. The Aims inverter/charger was a huge disappointment and waste of a lot of money.

kills battery BMS instantly - battery goes into safety mode
I generally like Renogy products, and I wanted this 3000W inverter for my RV. I have one 206AH LIPOS battery. When I connect the inverter to the battery, it immediately trips the BMS and sends the battery into protection mode killing all the 12VDC circuits in my RV, and the inverter will not power on. I disconnect it from the battery, reset the BMS and battery is ok, back up to 100% SOC and 13.7VDC. Disappointing. I read reviews for the Renogy 2000W inverter, and it seems to have the same problem. I will check out other inverter manufacturers.

Great Inverter
I got this inverter to use in my "Skoolie" RV conversion. It's being powered by a bank of 3 x 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries - I got this particular inverter because I wanted the "headroom" to be able to run high intermittent loads, not because I expect these batteries to last for a day at full power. I also have a 60A Renogy MPPT charger with 6 x 100W panels. I wired the pieces together for a load test, using a 2100W heater as the test load and ran it for a little over an hour and half - this inverter didn't stress at all. It barely even got noticeably warm above room temperature. The 12V input supply terminals are nice and 'beefy' and easy to connect the fat power cables to. I haven't used the output terminal connections yet, but for me these are a great feature since I intend to wire the power circuits as 'permanent' connections and didn't want to have to plug them in to 'outlets' in the inverter as is the case with many other brands. Assuming it survives over the long term (which I think it will), I'd definitely get another one of these if I needed one.

Awesome 3000W inverter
I've been using a 2000W pure sine wave inverter from another company other than Renogy for 4½yrs. It used 2.5amps on standby. I finally upgraded to the 3000W pure sine wave inverter by Renogy. This inverter is awesome. It only sips 0.60amps on standby. It also seems to be a much cleaner energy than my old one. And the fans are fairly quiet. I highly recommend the Renogy 3000W Pure Sine Wave inverter.

No way to turn off, draws large load at connection time, may not work with BMS
CAUTION: One flaw. No way to turn this off. When connecting the unit to the battery, you get a massive arc and load (capacitors are charging). This causes my battery management system to detect a short, and shut off to protect the battery. The only way to reset the BMS is to disconnect the unit, but the process repeats. So I could never get this connected and working. The documentation does warn about this. Otherwise looked like a well build unit. But would not work with my lithium batteries and BMS.

Works with some modification.
I bought this to use in my RV and clearly it was not designed for that. The GFCI tripped by just looking at it wrong. The GFCI has a 15amp auto-resetting breaker on the 120v terminal that is on the same circuit as the bottom plug. There is a second 15amp breaker that is routed to the top two outlets. So the terminal is a gimmick to make it look like it can handle more amps, but it can't. Furthermore the wiring that connects the main AC output to the GFCI controller is only 16 gauge aluminum wire. Looks like a lot of corners were cut on this one. I bypassed the crap GFCI wiring and wired directly to the output board using proper 10 gauge copper wire, strait to the terminal. This allowed me to use the full 3000w inverter to it's actual potential. I don't recommend doing this unless you know what you are doing. My RV has it's own breakers and GFCI circuits, so safety was not compromised to make this modification. Otherwise, look elsewhere for a RV inverter. The remote is handy and I like the long cord on it. The unit does get hot when running at capacity, and the fans in it do help. However I recommend throwing some heat sinks onto the casing to further help the heat dissipate. It can run my RV air conditioner just fine including the initial in-rush from the compressor (~35-40 amps). 3 stars because of the misleading 3000w rating (it's only actually 1500w per GFCI circuit; one circuit to the top two outlets, and the other circuit on the terminal and bottom outlet), and because of the cheap wires they used.

Lots of power
This 3000watt inverter came quickly and on time. It was well packaged and simple to install. I got it hooked up to 500AHR 12volt battery bank in my trailer and the thing ran my AC unit and my fridge!! Obviously wouldn't do that lomg term as batts would drain fast, but it is nice to know, when off grid we can make toast and brew coffee at the same time! Very happy with the unit... I have only just installed it so have not used it for any length of time yet, but so far, so good!

This product came with no factory packaging, no instructions, no remote..... NO NOTHING!
This is not as advertised. It says no where that it will be missing all accessories, instructions. It wasn't even in the factory plastic wrap. This was not a good purchase on my part and definitely is not sold as described. Not Happy!
