Be careful: 220 Volt ONLY valve!
Be careful! If you're in the U.S., you're going to need a Rancilio valve that works with standard 110V outlet power. This ad description doesn't say, but this part is only rated for 220V. If you look carefully at the picture, you can see that it's only rated for 220V. I didn't look that closely when I ordered it since I assumed that if it was being sold as a Rancilio valve on the U.S. Amazon site, it would fit Rancilio machines in the U.S. Bad assumption - I returned the one I received. The three star rating is somewhat arbitrary. I'm sure the fill valve itself is high quality in a UK/Europe machine. However, the ad really ought to say that it's a 220V part, and so I would give the description a one star rating. If the vendor responds that the part number is clearly given in the title for the ad, then my response is: Try to find a good Rancilio parts listing anywhere online. I looked quite a bit and couldn't find one (2019-01-12). FYI, my machine is a Rancilio Silvia probably purchased around around 2009 - 2010 ( I got it used so I'm not sure).
