Great watch for the Price!
I like this watch a lot! After fussing with smartwatches, I find the older stuff is refreshingly simple and functional. This has all the features I need. Date, time, stopwatch functions are all functional. I especially like the pedometer - it measures not only steps, but also distance, time and calories. It starts automatically after midnight. But you can stop it and reset it anytime. I use it to clock my morning walk, then let it run the rest of the day so I can see my total steps for an entire day. I don't know how accurate the step count is, but you can adjust other settings to provide reasonably accurate distance and calorie data. I have not used the sleep function, and see that as more of gimmick. Similarly, I have not used the workout reminder function. The watch band is large and comfortable - my wrists are large and there is still plenty of room for growth LOL. The instructions for the watch are well written and it's not too difficult to figure out how to set everything. The only negatives are the time display has a slightly darker background than the rest of the watch face. Also, the colors shown on the description are not accurate. I ordered what I thought was purple based on the color display, and it turned out to be pink (not a 'macho man' color). I ordered a second watch and what appeared to be black turned out to be grey (but the grey is attractive!). Overall, for the price this is a great watch

STICKS ON "SLEEP" MODE (after only 1 week)!!
UPDATE: Since my initial review below, and after reading further information in the instructions, it states, to paraphrase, if the watch freezes, as mine did on the SLEEP MODE, TO PRESS "simultaneously" ALL FOUR BUTTONS, WHICH RESETS THE WATCH--It worked!! ( of course, information will need to be reentered) BUT, now this watch works like a charm! so, NOW, I am giving 5 stars! I am happy now with this purchase at a VERY reasonable price. I JUST READ THE FOLLOWING REVIEW, AS THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME. I ONLY HAS THIS WATCH FOR A WEEK, AND IT IS STUCK IN SLEEP MODE! I am just copying and pasting this person's review because it is EXACTLY what I am experiencing NOW. I WILL RETURN IT TOMORROW!! The reviewer writes: "...wanted an inexpensive watch pedometer and was also intrigued by the sleep monitoring function. I wasn't quite ready to spring for a fitbit or some other more expensive device because I wasn't sure how much I'd like to wear something like that all the time and get enough use to be worth the cost. Simple Watch Delivery
The watch is fine I've had them in the past. It's Amazon. They can't seem to deliver a watch that's not broken. Second time around. I will NOT be recording again and I'm going to start to limit ordering from Amazon.

the bad thing was trying to figure out where the stopwatch ...
I bought this watch for my son, he is involved in track and cross country so he needs to be able to time himself. He loves the watch. However, the bad thing was trying to figure out where the stopwatch mode went to after he wore it to bed one night. I have had to read over the instructions many times already as this watch is a little confusing. But all in all, he wears it daily and likes the functions now that we have figured it out..

I wanted an inexpensive watch pedometer and was also intrigued by the sleep monitoring function. I wasn't quite ready to spring for a fitbit or some other more expensive device because I wasn't sure how much I'd like to wear something like that all the time and get enough use to be worth the cost. The first day was great and it was great to see the steps add up on the pedometer. When I went to bed that night, I decided to put it in sleep mode. When I woke up, I discovered that sleep mode didn't actually work and the watch was stuck in sleep mode and I could not get back to regular mode where I could view all the modes. Good sports timepiece plus
I stand by what I said below, but I have had 3 and all 3 cases broke. That of course makes it unusable. 9-26-17 I am a watch lover. This, so far, proves to be a very good accurate watch with a little more. This is my first step counter and probably as far as I want to go with it. Of course you have to synchronize your stride length with the actual distance. I did this on a two mile walk while carrying my hand held Garmin GPS. I got it to within .1 in that distance. Now I can use it on a treadmill or elliptical with decent confidence. It also shuts off with inactivity to save on the battery. I like that. The only problem I had was the watch case crumbled at one of the strap pins and was unrepairable. Amazon (my store) replaced it with no problem. But I'm curious to see if this might be a common problem. The replacement has been good.
