Perfect for pups!

Amazing dog coat! The harness on the outside is really helpful, kept my dog very warm! The paw sleeves could be a tiny bit longer, but overall it fit well. I had to size up for my 10lb dog and her a large so that it fit the length of her. Once I had the large instead of a medium, it was perfect.

Very nice but VERY SMALL

My dog is 12 lbs, thin, and shaped like a min pin or a rat terrier which means he's usually a size small. I ordered this jumpsuit for our first real winter in NYC and it had really nice details, but was truly made for a teacup 2-3 lb dog or puppy. I returned it for a medium thinking YES this will fit! I checked the measurements and they confirmed. The medium arrives, and the medium is also too small for my 12 lb dog. So now we are trying to find a size LARGE for a 12 lb dog. It's a nice coat - but if your dog is bigger than a guinea pig you need at least a medium.

cutest thing ever

my dog is diabetic and his hair is thinning so the winter is not his favorite. i had to go one size up since my dog has a long body. the Large size fits slightly loosely and the legs are too long, but i just fold the bottom of the legs and he is fine. better to have some room than make him uncomfortable in tight clothes. the coat looks so cute on him and it keeps him warm. it also prevents him from getting wet when it rains. normally, the biggest fuss i used to have are the zippers on coats, but this product has a pretty sturdy and smooth zipper. since it has a loose fit, i don't have to worry about his hair getting caught in the zipper either. been using this coat regularly and i am glad i got it!

Well made with one major flaw.

I originally ordered a small, which didn't have enough room in the chest, so I exchanged it for a medium. The medium does fit - the biggest problem, though, is that the ribbed cuff is huge - it's so much larger than my dog's legs that it might as well be an open, hemmed pant leg. The cuff is so large that the ribbing does not close around the ankle and instead, when my dog picks up his leg to walk, it slips off and then when he puts his paw back down on the ground, he trips. I tried rolling up the pant leg, but that only worked for a couple steps before it slipped back down the leg. It's too bad because otherwise this is very thoughtfully made. If your dog has exceptionally long legs (and my dog does have long legs, just not long enough!) then this will probably work for you. If not, at nearly $100, this is much too expensive to have such a major flaw in the design.

Very sturdy and beautifully made!

This suit fit my dog like it was custom made just for him! It's beautifully made, with a sturdy metal zipper, not cheap plastic. It's very easy to put on my dog, and the built-in harness is a plus. This is our second winter with it, and it comes out of the wash like new. With temps well below zero here in upstate NY, my little guy stays nice and toasty warm. It's a little expensive, but I think it's worth it!
