Decent Starter Slide Board

I started using one of these at my physical therapist post knee surgery and thought I would get one for home. I purchased the "Pro" version. The first one I got started coming apart in multiple spots when just leaving it out, because the rubber on the bottom is tighter than the plastic. This caused a sort of clipping feeling when sliding over those spots - not smooth. I sent it back and the replacement had the same problem after a few days but just in one spot and not as bad - see picture. I just stand on that one spot for about a minute to flatten it out before I use it and it has been fine for functionality. All in all it does a good job for the price but in the future I would probably spend a little bit more to get something better made.

Easy to set up

Easy to set up and put away. Great for building leg muscles that you don't normally use by walking or running. Best if used on a vinyl floor. Carpet is too soft and you can't glide as it is meant for.

It works but need to put armor oil or silicone spray at first and every 5 times using it. Great sliding side to side! Fun!

GREAT STARTER SLIDEBOARD: get this if you're not sure you're gonna like it

there are so many $$$ boards out there that are probably more durable, but for 40 bucks this is a STEAL as a first board. if you get this and hate it, you haven't lost much. but if you like it, and it craps out, you can get a nicer one down the road. i am SHOCKED at how good this product is. that said, i have a 100% flat floor to put it on, so i have zero issues. i also have incorporated a TRX, therabands, 2 chairs, and paper towels to create extra safety when using it (i already had all those things so i didn't spend extra money there).

Great for home exercise

I've struggled with the COVID shut down of the gyms - developed tennis elbow doing home workouts (too many reps with light weights) but this slide board has been awesome to keep me moving on lower body. My gym actually is posting workouts online and there are a couple of slider workouts that could be done with things like towels or paper plates. This saves me that trouble and is something for which I don't even need an actual routine. The company provides samples of exercises in the booklet that comes with it, but I would have appreciated some additional links to other online slideboard workouts.

Doesn't lay flat at edges, and relatively easy to scuff up

Overall, I'm happy enough with the purchase. It's one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. It's a great price for a reasonably solid product. Beyond that, my main complaint is that it doesn't really stay flat at the edges. I've been using it for a few weeks, and there are already quite a few scratches on the surface. It's enough that the friction has increased and I'm looking to buy some silicone oil to slicken it up. Despite that, it still functions just fine. Again, you get what you pay for, but it is good value for the money.

TOO flexible!

It's flexibility is both a good thing and a bad thing. It's flexible enough to roll up and tuck in the corner of my workout area, but way too flexible to use on most regular flooring types. The only way I could come with up with to get any use out of this thing, was to go to Home Depot and buy the smoothest sheet of plywood they had and asked them to cut it in half long ways. Now that large piece of wood stands propped up against the wall. Not exactly what I was hoping to do but it's the only way to get a smooth glide on this thing. Sadly I missed the "return by" date so I'm stuck with it, wishing I hadn't wasted $50 plus another $12 for the plywood. Unless you have perfectly smooth hard wood or concrete floors to lay this on, I wouldn't recommend buying it.

Fantastic addition to home work outs

I love this thing, there is just so much you can do with it. It's a great addition for home work outs, and the bag makes it easy to pack up and store. I keep the booties in the bag as well so I don't lose them.

Manufacturing defect

Unfortunately the product had a manufacturing defect and had to be returned before it could be used. The backing was not properly attached to the top
