Yes it’s 4 inches

I was about to return this based on someone’s review about it being less than 4 inches. Well I guess they got a bad order because the one I received in the mail was 4 inches. Now my doorknob is not hitting the mirror I just installed on the wall. Perfect item!

Easy to install, simple replacement

These door stops are easy to install; unlike the kind with the built-in screw, the design of these lets you use any length screw you need. I was replacing a stopper that was pulled out from the wall numerous times, so the shorter screws had nothing to grab onto. Because this door stopper uses a separate screw, it let me use a much longer screw I had in order to bite farther into the wall. Here's a tip: The length is also adjustable - if you remove the stopper cap, you could trim the spring down to the perfect length you need.
