Love the material and color, inconsistent fit across colors and styles

Pros: * Great color, though not true to stock photo * Comfortable material Cons: * Inaccurate sizing, runs even smaller than Prana Sutra pants In my experience, all Prana Sutra pants and shorts run one full size larger. The Indigo color shown on the stock photo is darker than the actual color, but they look way better than some light denim shorts/cut-offs. So if you normally wear: 30-32, go for Small 33-34, go for Medium 35+, go for Large Prana doesn't make these in XS. The shorts do fit a little more snugly and true to size than the correspondingprAna Men's Sutra Pant , but unfortunately for many yoga practicers, who tend to be quite slim, these shorts will not comfortably fit anyone with a 29 waist or below. They would fall straight off your hips or fit very loosey with the drawstring tied. All in all, if you do happen to wear a 30-35, I highly recommend these shorts as everyday casual wear or as yoga wear because they are absolutely comfortable and very stylish. They also hold up well in the washer/dryer, but I would recommend a low dry setting to increase longevity.

Great shorts but the lack of a fly makes them less practical

I love these shorts! I ordered a medium and I typically wear 34 waist. The only problem is that I have an athletic build (cyclist butt and legs) making them difficult to get on/off over my butt. The waist size and general fit is great once they're on but since they don't have a fly or any give to them at the waist they're difficult to slide on/off. I'd give them 5 stars if they had a stretch waist or button fly.

Try these on your asana

I usually wear gym shorts to my yoga classes, but I thought I'd give some 'official' yoga shorts a shot so I don't look like such a bum. They are very soft and comfortable with a drawstring waist cinch. They also have 2 pockets in front and a back pocket. No zipper though so if ya gotta go, untie that drawstring pronto! I don't know if anyone can tell they are yoga shorts, but I even like to wear them on weekends for hanging around the house and running errands. A little pricey for a pair of shorts, but they seem well made and they are very cool. Plus they're made with hemp!

Like the fabric and color alot

Like the fabric and color alot. I'm a 28-29 waist and the extra small fits slightly big at the waist (xsmall in Prana's Stretch Zion pants fits me perfect.) The drawstring fixes that but I don't really like how it makes them wrinkle/fold along the top, but I guess that's the look and I'm probably just too picky. Not athletic enough for yoga class in my opinion (usually wear compression shorts), but great casual shorts and dressy-looking enough to wear out. The quality is excellent and should last a long time.

Great shorts that are comfortable and stylish in any setting

Great shorts that are comfortable and stylish in any setting. These are my go to climbing shorts and they still look great going out to eat before a long day at the crag! The movement you get in these rival any gym short out there with more durability than you would expect from a short this comfortable and soft. They fit as expected, with the medium fitting my 32in waist very well.

Best yoga shorts

This is the most comfortable yoga short I've found. The hemp blend is lightweight and doesn't saturate, great for hot classes. The drawstring waist ensures perfect fit. There's plenty of room allowing freedom of movement for vinyasa classes. The material is ideal to either hang or machine dry. I have two pair. A bit pricey for shorts. I practice 6-7 times per week and would probably own more if not for the price tag. But my first pair is over a year old and shows no wear despite over 100 washings. Expect I'll accumulate a couple of more over time. Can't beat these for overall comfort and value.

Fits females too!

I'm female, but I still like these on me. They are a little tight to pull up over women's hips, since they're cut for men, but the hip section then fits fine and loose. I wish there was a little elastic in the back, or a smaller cord in front, since tying the belt in front makes my shirt lumpy or my stomach stick out more than I want it to. Love the green color, got them in brown too.

Great shorts from a great range.

Perfect shorts, just like the perfect long yoga trouser version. Just wish they did them in pure white for kundalini yoga.
