My beagle already tracks rabbits, ignores this stuff. dunno if old or bad batch, but returrning this
Have a 7 mo. old beagle from a well known rabbit running line here in michigan. she'll go crazy and find bunnies from 50yds away, but doesn't care at all about this product. we say "where's the rabbit" and she will not ever find the line that we drew with the dummy soaked in the 'scent' from 10-50 ft from where we dropped it. I recall her and point to the spot we applied the scent on to the dummy and say 'smell' (because that's the most smelly part of the trail) and she gets all confused and starts running around the yard trying to figure out what I'm asking her to smell for because she can't identify the scent as rabbit. we've trained her off chipmunks and squirrels, and surprisingly deer; but all she ever wants is rabbit and I can't even get her excited about the scent when i shake the bottle up and hold the cap in front of her nose and say 'smell'. she does smell and then just sits there looking at me like well, what then. this company and their product has such a good reputation, long before amazon was a thing that i can't convince myself to believe it is all amazon hype and paid for reputation's. i'm returning this stuff because it totally didn't work on a trained rabbit runner beagle. i don't know what the shelf life of rabbit (or any other 'scent' animal secretions') are; but the stuff we received was bunk. i am truly sorry to to have to say this because the company has such a good reputation, but i wasted my money buying this kit. good for me is i can return it for a full refund via amazon, but Rickard's needs to check in on their quality control. i had been told that they made a very good product, and i admit that i was looking for a shortcut, but i'll just go back to dragging a rabbit foot around on a string for scent training from now on.

exactly as described
Nice little package, for a decent price. Mine arrived with directions for use. The dummy was like the ones I buy in the local farm store, so not disappointed. It is NOT as sturdy as the expensive dummies, but for training on a new scent or a new dog?...yup. just fine.

Cheap Dummy That Didn't Last
I've had the kit about 4 days and have done two training sessions with my hounds. In less than 2 hours, the dummy has been completely obliterated. I don't have any issues with the rest of the kit, as the rabbit scent and whistle work well. I don't recall any training booklet included, as advertised.

As expected. Some of the reviews said they did not get a manual. Mine came with the manual it is small and could be easily missed.

No manual with kit
It looks ok, but just like the other reviews,there was no training booklet in my package either.... I'm new to dog training so a booklet would be a big key for me

Basset Hound loves product
My basset hound and I love the product! Got delivered faster then expected. I’ve used it several times already and Ms Boombastic never misses a beat with following the trail. Very happy!

Did not come with a manual like it said it would
Did not come with a manual like it said it would. The back of the scent bottle said instructions were on the back of the label. The label said they were on the back of the bottle. There were instructions on neither. The product description said there was a book. Disappointed.
