It is what I wanted
The product is exactly what I was expecting.

Living with the imperfections of "hand-crafted". At least it's authentic.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these from vendor Sparks_USA, and based on everything I can tell, they are authentic. They do sit straight, and there are no visible manufacturing defects. That said, some things to note: 1. The joints are quite loose, almost as if the screws have not been tightened enough. The video shows how loose the bridge joint is, and this is right out of the box with maybe 2 wears so far (got it yesterday). It just flops around. 2. The arms are also loose, but do not flop around. Unlike the non-Steve McQueen version, these arms fold inwards and don't seem to the "lock" mechanism that keeps them straight when opened. They are very easy to fold, for example when hooking onto your collar or not putting the sunglasses on perfectly straight. 3. The case I got is leather, and is a semi-rigid case. The only part of the case that is soft is the fold-over lid, the rest of it has a hard inner structure that helps it keep its shape. Some online reviews remarked that these SM versions come with a soft case - mine did not. 4. There were bits of what seemed like very fine fabric, or possibly fur, caught in both arm joints and in the bridge joint. As if someone was wiping them down with a fabric cloth which got caught in the sharp edges. Took a bit of work to get it all out. They look great. Just wish I didn't have to tighten down the screws on a brand new pair of $400 sunglasses.

Husband wears them all the time.
Bought these for my husband for our anniversary. Must admit he picked them out. He rarely asks for anything, so I was very glad he found something he wanted. They fit great. No slippage or other issues. They do fold up quite small, but that's not a feature he needs or uses often. He wears them all the time, and it makes me happy to see him enjoy them.

Amazing Craftsmanship & Fantastic Lens....You Need To Be Sure You Get The Right Size Though.
These sunglasses are a work of art. They're beautiful and highly crafted. That said I believe I should have ordered the smaller sized lens (not available in the McQueen version apparently) simply because on my more slender face they tend to slide down my nose a bit causing me to often push them back up on warm days. Reading reviews regarding the smaller sized lens led me to believe they could be too snug which made me pull the trigger on these (and because I wanted the Steve McQueen versions). I actually wished I purchased the smaller lens sometimes while other times I think who cares these are Steve's glasses. These said non-polarized, but honestly they're so clear and cut the haze so well I think they must be polarized as they are supposed to be for the McQueen model. My advice is to try on these frames. Be sure you get the fit that works for you because otherwise these are some of the finest made sunglasses you'll ever own and they deserve to fit as well as they're made.

By far the best Persol light Havana frames I’ve ever had! Wanted an extra pair and these frames have the best honey color with wonderful tortoise effects. Very few of the new release have that look on the front of the frames and I love that!
