Water saver feature is too conservative
I’m all for saving water here in the southwest but this is such a minimal stream I have to use more water just to get soap off my hands. My shower has great pressure so I know that’s not the issue. I wish there were a way to regulate the stream. Love the looks and substantial feel and the angled opening. Will keep it so I don’t have to pay a plumber to de-install but thought I should warn others-this is very low stream output.

Base plate is plastic.
This is a great looking faucet and seems well made, as it is heavy and handle works smoothly. I was extremely disappointed ( during instillation ) to find that the base plate is plastic????. Came with new supply lines and everything else needed...except for plumbers putty for under the drain assembly.

Nice faucet, but I had an installation issue
Package contained items shown in one of the attached photos. This faucet is made mostly out of brass with some plastic components. Looking at the same photo, you can pretty much tell what’s what. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the old faucet. Once that was done, installation of this new faucet was just a matter of tightening a couple of brass nuts and attaching the water lines. However, I did run into a problem that required purchase of a $3 part from Home Depot. The drain pipe that came with the faucet wasn’t long enough to reach my p-trap. I needed an extension pipe in order to make the connection (see photos). This is the second faucet I installed this week with this identical problem. The standard drain-pipe length on new faucets must be shorter than those from the past. If you’re replacing an older faucet, you may want to check and if necessary, have the extension pipe on hand before starting work. Text on the box says this faucet is supposed to have a limited lifetime warranty. Another reviewer mentioned that Peerless is owned by the same parent company that owns the Hansgrohe brand. This is bad news if Peerless handles their warranties the same way Hansgrohe does theirs. I have two 6-year old Hansgrohe faucets. The chrome finish on these faucets are corroding and cracking off. I called Hansgrohe to ask about the “Limited Lifetime Warranty” on those faucets. The customer rep I spoke to told me nothing can be done because those faucets are a discontinued design. The Hansgrohe limited lifetime warranty is basically worthless. I wonder if the Peerless limited lifetime warranty works the same way. Warranty uncertainty aside, I like this faucet. It looks stylish installed and operates smoothly. I just hope the finish is a bit more durable than those on my Hansgrohe faucets.

Nice looking faucet, plastic sink drain components.
When I opened this, the first thing I saw was the all plastic sink drain bits. Granted this will eventually transition to plastic pipe in a modern house, but I still miss the brass sink drain components, so that was disappointing. The faucet itself is nice looking, although I'd say it's not quite as elegant as I thought initially. Now I have to decide if I'm going to use it or find something else. The base has the pretty typical integrated hoses and threaded rod for attachment, and comes with a cover for three hole countertop if you're doing an upgrade. Overall quality looks good and is what I'd expect from someone like Peerless, although again, I'd wish for less plastic.

Attractive design and quality construction, but shows water spots.
This was easy to install and had clear directions, including the drain assembly. It also includes the plate to cover holes in a 3-hole counter, which is a great bonus. This has a nice modern look and the one-hand operation handle lifts smoothly. One problem is that the pull part for the drain is hard to get to where it's placed. If your faucet is close to the backsplash, this can be a problem. Notice how close it is on the photos in the listing too! This is a challenge to get your hand behind it to pull it up. The other drawback is that it gets water streaks and shows spots pretty easily. But overall, it's a really pretty design and a well-made faucet.

Quality Faucset
This is a lovely faucet. It is easy to install. It comes with good instructions for the layperson or you can have a handyperson install it for you. It has a nice brushed nickel finish. I am a fan of this finish because it does not show water spots. It works with a single handle that moves easily. It is taller than your average faucet which is great (easier to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth). This faucet works great. While it is a modern faucet, it has a touch of vintage to it (the curve of spout and handle). Peerless makes quality faucets. I have never had a problem with one of them. I am very happy with this new faucet.

Attractive and well built...
This Peerless faucet is attractive. It's built of solid metal, including the base. The valve operates smoothly, though not with the tight precision of much more expensive faucets. Peerless is one of a number of plumbing fixture companies owned by the American building product company, Masco. Delta and hansgrohe are other Masco brands, and Peerless faucets share many components with Delta faucets. Peerless is designed for the value market, which means homeowner remodelers. Its designs are less fancy than Delta and Grohe, but its cartridges--the heart of any faucet--are warranted for life just like Delta. This faucet comes with full instructions for homeowner installers. A nice, fine quality faucet. If you like the design you'll like the reliabilty of operation.

Clean look, easy install, passed inspection
This was acquired to replace a 25 year old faucet that developed a drip and was looking somewhat "gnarly" . Whatever that means. The old one seemed OK. However, I (male engineering type) have been assured that I have no taste when it comes to home furnishings. I picked this faucet based on manufacturer reputation and operation similar to the old one (without the drip). Installation was easy and uneventful. Afterwards, it worked as expected. Smoothly operating valve, handle stays where you left it, water comes out. Upon female inspection, the feedback was "You didn't mess up". Good faucet.
