Love this bag

I love the feminine design of this bag. You would never know that what looks like a pretty buckle is actually a secure locking mechanism to deter thieves. The inside of the bag is an amazing pinkish color and I love the way it opens. I haven't used this for travel yet but I can't wait to use it.

Perfect women’s travel purse/backpack

Loved using this backpack for our first trip to Europe! We went to Paris, Versailles and London etc. I had no safety issues with my belongings and felt comfortable in the subways and crowded attractions. I especially loved the fact that I could attach my purse and lock it to chairs, fence posts and my bike! I was also shocked at how much I could fit into it! Each day I had maps, my large wallet, extra shoes, gloves, water bottles, snacks, my toiletries bag and even at times my down coat (squishy). Highly recommend this bag for travel! My only complaint would be that it takes a long time to open and then re-close and lock up the bag. When shopping in a market etc having to take those few extra minutes when there’s a line behind you was a bit annoying. ALSO, you really have to have a spot to SET the bag down when opening and closing the bag which can be tricky. My husband usually had to hold the bag while I zipped and locked it up. All in all it was worth it though for the safety and peace of mind. This is not a bag I’d recommend for normal every day use unless you live in a place where you feel you need the extra security on your bag.

Straps are too long

VERY cute bag. One MAJOR problem. The STRAPS are WAY too long!!! As many reviewers said about the regular size citysafe CX, the same is true about this mini version. Way too long and hangs way too low. I’m 5’4” small frame. I ordered the regular size and sent it back hoping this mini would be better. I ended up shortening the straps by shoving the padded strap part through the buckle by about 3-4”. Don’t ask me how it did that. It took a lot of wrestling bc obv the padded part is not supposed to go through the buckle. That’s the only way I could shorten it enough to use it. I really like this bag and didn’t want to send it back. This is my 2nd PacSafe bag. They make great products but this one needs to go back to the design desk. AND bc one strap has the hook, that makes the straps UNEVEN. Serious design flaw. For a women’s bag they need to shorten the straps by about 6” and even up the sides left to right accounting for the hook on one side.

Works for me

I ordered three different backpacks with the following in mind, in order of importance to me: -safety features that would prevent theft -big enough to fit my small, mirrorless camera and two lenses -small enough that I could take it through most museums (most have strict size restrictions) This backpack meets all those needs. As some have pointed out, this backpack is a pain in the ass to get into. But isn't that the point if you want a backpack that prevents theft?? I won't need to get in it so much that this will be a problem for me. The things I need most frequently (chap stick, tissues, hand sanitizer) fit in the small front pocket which is unsecured. If someone picks that pocket, they are more than welcome to my used chap stick. The insert from my camera bag (Temba Messenger 8) fits in the bottom of this bag with plenty of room for other essentials. If I need to take it off my back and carry it in a museum or cathedral the top handles are sturdy enough to do that. So this bag is perfect for me and what I need.

Stylish Backpack great for European Travels

I purchased the Mini Packsafe and the large Packsafe backpack for our trip to France this past summer. I loved both but the Mini is perfect for a day pack. I used it all over France! It was large enough to pack in water bottles, snacks, a scarf or tour book, wallet, phone sunscreen and more. I loved the security features for the main pocket. I never once felt nervous even in busy crowds in the middle of Paris! Highly recommended. Its cute, stylish and also very functional! Even my 12 YO would take turns wearing it. I'm petite and it fit great. I ended up using the Large Packsafe on the airplane ride over and back. Because I had to carry on more for not just myself, but also my kids I wanted more space. The large proved perfect, I could pack snacks, toiletries, multiple water bottles, sweatshirt, scarf and more! I can't rave about them anymore! love the Packsafe brand and its well worth the price!

Genius bag!

What a genius bag. The material is thick and looks high end. I love that the top of the bag has a frame and opens like an old doctors bag. The top zipper has two zipper tabs that lock together and then you can further secure the bag by feeding the locking bar through both. The front pocket has a zipper with one tab and while it doesn’t have a lock like the top zipper it has a loop to feed the tab through to make it more difficult to unzip. I saw other reviews saying the straps were too long but I’m 5’7 and at their shortest they’re just fine. I actually ended up lengthening them to give more room to wear it with thick winter coats. The organization inside the main compartment and the front pocket are great. Nice to finally find an attractive bag with actual security features.

Fantastic bag!

Fits my MacBook Pro 13 inch as well as a water bottle and notebook. The zip and frame design for the main compartment make it hard to access *but that’s the point!!* Bought the black one, looks very sleek. I’m 5’1” and this fits me just fine. The straps on their shortest setting won’t be short enough if you want the bag to sit high on your back. On the shortest setting it sits around my lower back. Comfortable bag. Highly recommend it.

BEST backpack. I have been looking for one for school, work, and travelling and this literally fits all my needs. It’s small enough to be super portable, and big enough to squeeze in my 13” MacBook Pro plus wallet and water bottle. There are compartments to organize my stuff too. And it’s so sturdy, and sleek enough to be business casual.

Man fühlt sich sehr sicher durch die vielen kleinen, versteckten Details. Der Rucksack ist sehr robust und außerdem wasserdicht und leicht abwaschbar. Etwas hochpreisiger, aber eindeutig das Geld wert!
