They're a bit bulky.

Both items work fine. However, they are quite large and somewhat awkward to use for smaller hands; but, will keep anyways.

Mitt runs small, is a bit stiff

The oven mitt is on the small side (if you wear Large or Extra Large gloves this isn't for you) and isn't great for gripping. The pot holder is great.

Oven mitt is HUGE and clumsy

Chose this set after seeing it recommended by America's Test Kitchen. Potholder works great but the oven mitt. . . what on earth were testers thinking! Even a large man with large hands would find it clumsy to use because the fabric extends so far beyond the fingertips. We found the mitt's lack of control dangerous and will be tossing.

Great oven mitt and pot holder set!

Bought these to replace my worn ones after reading the review on ATK. I have found many brands to not be truly heat-resistant, but these are great! I can take pans from the oven, walk across the room and maneuver them without feeling the heat start to seep in. My husband was a little cynical ("why do we need new ones?") But even he is sold now after using them.

Nice enough mitts

We love the OXO brand so wanted to give these a try. They are certainly slender on the hand which is fine. Really love the color. You can find mitts cheaper and of same quality from other sources though...Just got another hand mitt for $4 from Tuesday Morning to accompany the single mitt that this set came with.

Best oven mitts

Got two sets of these, probably could have just gotten one set, but I like the gloves on both hands so I don't burn my forearm on a hot rack digging back in the oven. Nice grip, flexible, easy-to-clean. Big rubbery rings to hang them from the hooks under the cabinet so there's no trying to get a floppy fabric loop to cooperate.

works as promised

This is a great oven glove. I have another one that I have used for about 2 years.. I bought this one to replace some old cloth ones. I have washed the previous mitt in the washer and then line dried it. The inside gets dirty after months of use. I pull it out before I wash it.

Works great with cast iron

Bought for bread baking in my cast iron dutch oven. Super flexible and thin with no worries about it getting too hot to handle the heavy pot. Was not sure about second piece being a square holder for my non dominant hand, but works fine and doubles as a potholder when needed.

Good value but glove is small.

Good quality for the price but glove is a snug fit even for my small hands.

Love these!

Love this oven mitt and pot holder set! They do what they are supposed to. They are well-made. I really like the fact that they have a small ring to hang them flat against the wall. I also really like the colour.

Awkward fit for smaller fingers

I didn’t test these with the oven, but the comfort alone was a problem. I have small to normal length fingers and narrow hands, but this oven mitt only fit on the width and I couldn’t do anything with my actual hands. You definitely need to use both pieces to be able to maneuver anything so it was really strange that they didn’t include a second mitt. There is a small pouch on the potholder you can use as a sleeve to help your other hand grab things; however, this means you’re reaching into the oven with way less protection so it’s dangerous. Loved the colour and it seemed good quality, but I really can’t see how I’d use it.
