The perfect 8" for me
I've been ditching old non-stick ware and moving toward decent quality multi-clad S/S ware. For me, this is the perfect 8" pan. I use it to saute small quantities of ingredients, make two-egg omelets, etc. As with all stainless steel pans, I heat the empty pan on medium-low heat until a drop of water "dances" around the pan. I dump out the drop of water, add my oil (EVOO, usually), wait about 30 seconds and then add my ingredients. No problems with clean up. I allow the pan to cool naturally, then I use a little hot water, soap and a scrub daddy. I've found an occasional treatment with Barkeeper's Friend makes it look brand new. The pan is perfectly balanced with even heat distribution. The handle is comfortable and an appropriate length. My ONLY complaint is there is no lid. I'm expecting the pan to last a long time.

Seriously the best pot of rice I’ve made! That was a surprise, as I purchased this for sauces. I’m so pleased with this dual purpose pan.

very heavy for a small sized pan
It is a very small but very nicely designed pan but very heavy. I cooked some ground turkey to make some hamburger patties with bacon grease and it did stick to the pan alot. It said nonstick pan but it wasn't for me. After I washed it, it now has a cloudy looking stain where the meat got stuck on the pan.

Pan received with tarnished bottom, looks used
The product itself is fine, but the item I received was scratched up and tarnished on the bottom, as if it was used. Not at all like the photos. Wasn't expecting to receive a used item, so that was a disappointment.

Very happy with this new pan
I've decided a saucier is my new favorite pan. It may not be called a saucier here but that's basically what it is. I like the curved sides particularly well for stirring in sauces or cheese to foods. I have 2 other 3 qt sauciers, one by Misen and one by Duxtop. This one is slightly larger than either of those 2 not only by volume but it seems wider overall. I like that about this pan. I can cook a few ears of corn in this pan that I cannot in the others. The see through lid is also helpful for checking how vigorously something is cooking without having to lift the lid. I haven't tried it yet on an induction cooktop but I'm hoping it will work as advertised.

Fantastic pan for multiple uses
Ordered this because I saw J. Kenji Lopez-Alt use it in a lot of videos and it's great. Super versatile, well made, would highly recommend (if only it was available in the UK and didn't need importing from the US!)
