Ok for city walks
I like the mesh / lightweight construction of the pack, but unfortunately the buckle straps regularly loosen on their own. Which causes rotation, sliding and possible rub spots.

Straps need to be better
My dog has been on two walks with this, and while she doesnt seem to mind carrying it, she DOES mind when the straps start to loosen and it starts flopping everywhere. The only way the straps are held in place is through like a slide method, I cant explain but like other reviewers stated, they become loose fairly easily. This causes it to slip and slide off, thus causing my dog to lose concentration. I noticed that compared to other reviews the leash ring was redone and it is now more sturdy, this is great HOWEVER there should be two options on where to hook the leash, on the top, and on the bottom. Its hard to get her to follow us instead of pulling us when the hook is in the back. I'm hoping that MAYBE as she gets older and a little more full and gains more weight, maybe some of these issues will be remedied. IF they do i have no issue editing this review.

Very adjustable
My dogs are always between harness sizes. I had a larger pack that supposedly fit the chest, but overall was too big. The medium day pack fits so much better and is easily adjusted 40# Malinois

Great Product
I bought a medium for my 1 year old border collie. It really does the job & the pockets are super spacious, potentially fitting a water bottle in each pocket. Only down fall is that if one side is heavier than the other, it’ll start falling to the heavier side. Overall, worth getting.

???? Love it ???? (But) CHECK/TEST UR D-RING
This could have SO easily been a 5⭐ review, unfortunately, I received the "nonconformer," not a 5⭐ item. I'll update rating & review depending on seller response. So, first let me say - I DO LOVE THIS! When I first opened the Amazon package, the only way I could foresee it being better, would've been if it was pink. It was packaged exactly as it would be if purchased in a retail store. Brand spanking new! And then.... 1st - When I first put it on her, the bottom side was twisting weird on her neck/chest and gouging the thick, stiff nylon into her flesh. When I took it off of her, After 20 minutes of trying to figure out why... I realized the bottom part was not only threaded into the sides upside down, but backwards as well. So, I fixed that, (with a huge eye roll and WTH sigh..) and finally got it to a point I could start adjusting the straps. That's when I realized the next issue. 2nd - It's oversized! Originally, I thought maybe these run large, and I needed a medium. That thought quickly dissapated, here's why. My girl has a girth of 27-28. Mfg recommends going up a size if between or unsure. Based on their size chart, 28 is a large, so I logically went with a large. I had to completely cinch down, every single adjustment...... Which in turn, placed every single "discomfort" (buckles, adjusters, etc) on the sensitive areas of her body. Adding the 20 minutes fixing freak issue #1, to the 30 minutes sizing it to her. I've spent almost an hour on what generally takes me 5 minutes when one of my girls gets a new harness. I finally get it adjusted to a happy medium; not as tight as it should be, but workable. Or so I thought. 3rd - When we went out for our walk, I had to stop 4 or 5 times, within 45-60 minutes to tighten everything back up, because it would start moving to one side. As annoying as all of the above were... NOTHING could prepare me for the next (and final) issue. 4th - Within the first 10 minutes of, not only our walk, but of even having a leash attached, the D-ring falls out. YES!! FELL OUT! How does that even happen? I should mention, it happened at the ONLY spot in our trail that's near ANY vehicle traffic - and it's a high traffic highway. I'd love to post a picture of the D ring, heck I'd love to see it for myself! But we were in 18" of snow when it happened. Fortunately.. I carry carabiner clips with me and was able to attach her leash back to the harness. But for several minutes, (several minutes too long), both of my girls' safety was in extreme jeopardy Attaching the carabiner clip through the narrow space, now vacated by the D-ring, was no cake walk. Especially while trying to hold dog 1 by her harness handle and the retractable leash handle for dog 2. Had I not taken a few hours between that walk and this review...this would have been 6 MUCH different review. Bottom line... There's always a few bad pcs in every lot run of any manufactured product. I got one of those; the exception, not the rule. Honestly.. sizing/fit aside, had the D-ring issue not happened, I'd have most likely rated it 5⭐ and not typed a single word in this box. But I got lucky and both of my girls are safe & sound & snoring! If the D-ring used on my harness is from a defective lot, other Pawrents need to know to check theirs!

Dog loves it!!
Perfect for exercising my puppy. She likes packing her own things when we go places. It's nice quality too.

OK doggie back pack
For casual use, very good. Straps are somewhat difficult to adjust but great for the price. I would buy again.

Not durable
I agree with all the reviewers. It’s a great backpack for my long haired Samoyed except for the fact that the D ring is not welded together. It came apart in the middle of our hike and just fell off the backpack. There was no front clip either for us to switch to in this emergency situation either. I tried to reattach but it just wouldn’t hold and the leash and D ring would just slide right off the backpack. Very dangerous for this to have happened during the hike. Luckily my dog wasn’t running after a bunny. I had to take apart my friend’s belted leash to try and attach it to the backpack. What a precarious trip! It lasted for a while but this time I am opting for a backpack with a welded D ring and a lifetime warranty!

Well made product, but not right for our dog.
Bought this for our whippet when out on walks in the countryside. Being a whippet she has a habit of spotting sheep over 300 miles away and sprinting off after them, so we wanted a harness that was comfortable for her to be on the lead for the day and had a grab handle in-case she decided to walk over a cliff. And so she can carry her own water and poop. The harness itself is well made. The buckles are all robust and chunky enough to make doing the harness up not too much of a chore, but it did take a fair bit of trial and error to balance the tightness of each one to fit properly. There was a lot of excess to some of the leads so tucked them in for the first walk and trimmed them down when we got home. The pockets are robust and close securely, so no worries of anything getting lost. But for our dog it just isnt right. Being a whippet she has big lungs and a skinny tummy, so the harness just doesnt seem to sit properly. As such it tends to flop over to one side or the other when on the lead, so when have to stop and reposition it all the time. We also found that if we attached the lead to the steel ring at the back of the harness she wanted to pull more, I assume because she didn't feel the pressure on her collar as she would normally, so in her mind she was off the lead. This isnt a flaw with the product, but worth noting if your dog isnt used to it. Overall if you're happy buying a harness like this online, and it ends up fitting, then this would be great. It's well made and I can see it giving plenty of use. We'll probably give it away, as the fits not right for our dog, and head to a local store where we can try them on. Thanks for reading. If you found this review useful please let me know.

Excellent!
My dog max loves his backpack, usually kept for long walks, however I like him off the lead so tend to use this daily now as it's easy to grab in a hurry. Not so keen on attaching his lead to the buckle on this, I find it actually gives me a lot less control of him, he's a big dog - I prefer his lead attached to his collar and I can grab the harness too if need be. It's machine washable - I think - it's certainly been in there. Pockets are ideal for him to carry his own water BUT make sure its same weight each side of the bag will slip Only massive downside is that the zip broke on one side so can't use it. Now looking to buy another

well-made and comfortable
Our dog now carries water and food for her and our other dog on hikes and she loves her backpack. We've had problems in the past with harnesses pinching and rubbing her but this one is really adjustable and she's had no issues. She can run and leap freely while wearing this, even when carrying plenty of weight. Also she looks adorable in it. And it's very affordable compared to other options on the market! Recommend.

Great for the price, working so far
So far we haven't built up the weight but all is going well with the dog panniers. A bit of sewing and customising is required as our dog is a funny shape but so far so good. For the price they are great, will report back once they have been used in anger. EDIT: Back strap interferes with my dogs pp so back strap has to be tucked out the way which makes the pack less stable when weight is carried. Okay for carrying poo bags. I wouldn't recommend for male dogs, as it may interfere!

Broke after 3 uses
Can you please contact me; I can’t find a way to contact you. I have only used this 3 times and the bottom of one of the pockets has completely torn so it’s not unusable. I’d love a replacement if possible.
