Wish I bought one years ago!

I've always been a bit apprehensive about dropping big bucks on a tool belt, especially since I'm a south-paw and I'm picky about how I carry My tools. After trying numerous different makers and combos that just didn't work out, I finally bought an Occidental Leathers rig. The first few hours with it were clumsy....but after the first lunch break, My working rhythm picked right up! I was first impressed by the quality of the materials...I could slap an elephant into a stupor with one swat of the belt alone-it's that heavy-duty! It's going to take me a while to break this rig in...just what I was looking for! Second, placement of the tools are in-board of the bag as a whole, which works swell for remodelers like Me. I won't scratch a finished doorway to hades by walking through it....Wish I bought this years ago! Me and this rig are gonna have some good times together,for years to come, My gut tells Me so....

Quality and made for lefties

Union carpenter for 30 yrs and always bought $80 tool belts that would last maybe 2 yrs. The “stitching” on accessory pockets would fall apart pretty quick. I’m left handed so I always moved and modified the right handers bags. Finally broke down and bought this set for lefties. Couldn’t be happier. Everything where I need it. Don’t hesitate to invest in quality.

Poor quality control

Not impressed. I contacted occidental leather to tell them the fastener bag is made too big or sewn too far forward to use the nail set/ pencil holder. The woman didn’t care at all and just said if I wasn’t satisfied to return it. I figured they would appreciate input and just wanted to know if this was a mistake- would have rather exchanged it for one that was made right. I have an older all leather belt and this is not a problem. Very disappointed in this company now.

Second set of Occidentals bags and my back is thanking me

This is my second set of Occidental bags. I wish I would of bought these the first time. The first set are terrible. Was reluctant to buy another set but I’m glad I did no more aching hips or back. Very comfortable.

Great, comfortable tool bag

Finally broke down and bought a real crafted toolbag. Very comfortable, very durable absolutely love putting this thing on. Been using the cheap yet still relatively expensive bags from lowes. Never again. Well worth the investment.
