Versatile bath toy for babies!

I give 5 stars for this Nuby bath toy because it goes above and beyond expectation. I expected it to be a fun bath toy, with cute, colorful, floating sea-like characters, Nuby met that expectation. I got these when my daughter was 7 months old, we've had them for 3 months now and she loves them in her tub. They aren't overwhelming in size, a good fit for her transition tub (we have the PRIMO Euro Bath - a great tub, too), and she's now learning that she can stick them to the tub and that they will stay there. These toys allow for imaginative play, conversation about different types of sea life with your child and also fun to chew on. My daughter has been teething off and on and she loves chewing on these toys. I will get them wet and put them in the freezer and they work well for her in that way too. There are 2 sets of 8, so you get a back up set which is nice or you can use one set for teething. It's a great buy for the price. Be aware though that the octopus only has 6 legs...not a big deal for me, I think it would be hard to fit 2 more on there with the size but they have cute, smiling faces and bright, engaging colors. I'm glad I bought this bath toy.

Great for in and out of the bathtub!

You get 16 foam pieces, 8 different animals. So when I received them I immediately put 8 to the side so when the ones in the tub wore out I could replace them. My 6 month daughter loves these in the tub! We started using them when she was 5 months and took her baths on her back. We would stick them to the side of the tub so she could look at them and would try to peel them off. Now that she is able to sit up in the tub she enjoys chasing them as they float around her. And I am continually surprised with how many she is able to grab! These are also great for teething! The 8 I put "away" well they ended up in her toy box because of how much she enjoys chewing on these! By far her favorite teether. They are light and easy for her to grab and hold onto and provide a perfect combination of hard/soft for teething babies. I even put a few in the freezer. My baby doesn't like super cold teethers and hates when they get wet and soggy. These foam pieces get pretty cold but don't stay cold for long and they don't sweat as they thaw. Have had them for nearly 2 months and they look brand new!

the perfect bath toy

My 17 month old loves these things. They stick perfectly to the wall (on the tub itself, on tile, and on the glass door) - they even sometimes stick to my son's arms lol. They're really cute and the shapes are well cut. They're about 3-4 inches in diameter and about a half inch thick. We've only used these a few times so I can't speak about the durability yet but to be honest, for this price, I'm extremely happy with what they are. They don't leave any marks on the tub, and don't smell (well, they had a little bit of a foam smell for about 15 minutes, but it was a very mild smell). Best part is that they don't get moldy. You get 16 total pieces - 8 different animals, but you get two of each. I put just one of each in my son's tub, figuring that if/when they start falling apart, i'll just give him the other set of 8. I would definitely recommend these and will probably buy more for my son in the future

No more drinking bath water!

Super fun! They stick to each other, the wall, and even the kids! The 1yo loves it as much as the 4yo, great for a wide range of ages. Dry well. Got then because we wanted toys that didnt have a receptacle, baby kept drinking the bath water...????. Now bath time is fun and not an uphill battle!

As Expected

I bought these for our 8 month old and she loves them. She's at a stage where she wants to stand (try to) in the tub and grab everything in sight so I was looking for something eye catching that would keep her occupied while we bathed her. I stuck these to the sides of the tub and she was having a blast. They are foam so a baby with teeth might be able to bite into them. The product does say ages 3+ years so I can't fault them for that. I did notice the black stamped numbers on the pieces but after first use and rubbing on the ink it wasn't coming off.

Favorite bath time toy!

I was given a set as a shower gift before the birth of my son. They are easily one of his favorites! Unfortunately, we lost a few to a toilet incident, so I ordered these! My son is 16 months old and has been playing with them in the tub ever since he could sit up. He loves sticking them in the wall, and they’ve really held up over this last year! The packaging says it’s suitable for kids 3 and up, but I think kids can use them right away as long as there’s adult supervision. We love these!

Great for three year old

Great for three year old... Have to watch with smaller babies. My three year old loves this and I got these for her. They float and when they get wet the sorta stick to the tile so she can line them up and play. The colors are bright and they dry all the way so no water gets trapped like with other toys which can lead to mold. My 15 month old also loves to squeeze them and throw them in the tub however he also loves to put them in his mouth and has ripped a piece off with his teeth which I had to pull out of his mouth. Just have to keep them away from those younger hands right now.

If your little one loves animals, get these instead of bath toys with holes in them (mold risk!)

If your lil one wants some water/bath toys - get these instead of the "squirters" since those can get moldy inside! After reading a lot about bath toys and the problems (black mold!) keeping them clean, I decided to go with these. The 16 piece set is actually two of 8 different types of sea animals. I just use 8 for now and keep the other 8 as backup in case anything happens to the others. They stick fairly well on flat surfaces with just a bit of water, but not so great on curved surfaces. Many larger tubs/garden tubs are slightly curved - even on the "flatter" sides - and it can be a bit harder for these guys to hang on. Either way, they'll stay up for awhile and they float around as well.
