Caution: Missing fork

Nothing wrong with the pulleys - seem to work fine, good bearings. My issue is the forks, or should I say fork, because they only package one. Two pulleys, two axle-bolts, one fork! At first I was dissin' myself: how do you lose a brand new fork? Then when I went to do the other door and dug out the other package, I realized, they only packed one! Huh? So, either save the old fork, make one from a piece of heavy strapping like I did, or pay the extra buck or two and get two single pulley packages rather that this package.

I am using these so that I can raise and lower bird feeders for maintenance and filling. I raise the feeders so that the lawn guy and I don't bang our heads on the feeders. It is hard to find inexpensive cable pulleys for this purpose. You can use thin cables which makes it tougher for the squirrels to get to the feeders. Works great. It would make life easier if the pair came with 2 of the brackets, however.

Great replacement for you Golds/Marcy home gym

I bought these for my home gym to replace the cheesy plastic pulleys it came with. Unfortunately, they don't come in a 3-3/4" size so you do need to adjust the cable at either end to accommodate them.

Simple job, simple tool, simply works.

Note though that the pack of 2 only comes with 1 bracket. This is what you need if you are replacing both pulleys on one side of the door, but not what you want to replace both pulleys/brackets at the same time as the springs.

Completely Misleading Description

The description of this item, with picture, leads you to believe that you are getting a set of Fork pulleys. WRONG! You are getting ONE fork pulley and one stationary pulley. In other words, one set of pulleys for ONLY one side of the door. If you are replacing springs, as I was, and want to replace the forked pulleys, you need TWO SETS of these. Don't be mislead. Otherwise the pulley quality is good, they do the job and were a good replacement for the ancient ones that were on the door

Arrived missing a piece, cannot get Amazon to acknowledge the problem

IA AM REALLY MAD ABOUT THIS PRODUCT... It comes as a set, with 2 pulleys, 2 "straps", 2 bolts and nuts, and attaches to one end of the garage door spring and allows the cable to travel around the pulley. It arrived missing one strap, and I tried multiple times to contact Amazon,and the following happened at least 3 times: I indicate I want to return the item, and it asks why. I describe the missing strap, and it says it can replace the product. I indicate that I want to do that, and it goes to another screen, no confirmation that replacement is coming, no acknowledgement of the problem. If it was a third party vendor, they would respond INSTANTLY. But this is Amazon, and nothing has happened

Very good quality Full set

There are several offerings from National. This one, 7634, is a FULL set. Each side of the garage door needs TWO pulleys, one requires a fork, the other doesn't. So, this package has 2 pulleys, 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 1 fork. If you are doing the whole garage door, which you should, then buy two packages. The quality is very good, just spray a little white lithium grease (Not wd40) and you'll be good for many years.

Perfect Barn Door Hardware

Ordered 1 of these (since it came with 2 pulley wheels). Mix with a door and a couple pieces of flat bar and you have yourself the perfect barn door. No need to pay the $600-$700 for hardware when you can do everything (including building your own door) for under $100!
