Lights up for what it is being used for [timer or just on and off]

Fairly easy to install. Instructions are adequate but could use a little simplification. Timers are fairly easy to set. Nice blue led light up when you press one of the buttons [on/off/timer].

Simplicity is key

The timer was easy to install and gives a indication if the light is on or off as the previous one had a cover and if the cover was pressed on error it was difficult to see the status of the light because of the small size of the display.

CONTROL OUTSIDE LIGHTS FROM INSIDE: EAZY PEAZY !

Original electrician installed an Interm** timer to control my outside garage lights. I needed the lights to go on at 5:00 pm , off at 10:30 PM in non DST months. On at 7:30 pm off at 10:30 pm in DST. PERIOD. Before this install it would take me a good 30 TO 45 minutes to mess around with the Interm** . A complete joke. I was using you-tube for instructions , I then wrote the steps...A zillion steps! This one is a breeze. If you want to control outside lights with an inside gizmo: simple off & on...BUY THIS PRODUCT NOW!

This is a smart eazy to install timer. It has lights to indicate if it's on or off.

I use it to control the lights over the front door and over the garage door. I have it come on st dusk and off at sunrise. It's reliable and hands free.

Super easy to program

First - the cover hides everything. It blends in well with my other paddle lights next to it. Now - for my use, this is very easy to program. I use it for my outside porch lights. I want lights to come on at dusk and off at midnight. Press one button. Done. I want lights to come on as dusk and off at dawn? Press 2 buttons. Done. On at dusk and off at another time (not midnight), press 1 button to turn on and a simple programming to set off time. **You can easily modify the dusk/dawn times by using the plus/minus buttons when you press the on/off at dusk/dawn buttons. Up to 1 hour. This is nice since the dusk/dawn times are calculated on a fairly wide area. I had to add about 20 minutes for the lights to wait until it was a little darker before they turn on. Not necessary, but nice to have that option.

Overall Good

Simple setup and easy to program. To advance the time there is no separate option to do the hour and minutes separately and you have to keep the switch pressed and let it run through all the minutes to set the current time, as well as the on/off time. It's not a deal breaker, however the product description says it is easy to change to daylight savings time, which makes it sound like it is "easier" than any other conventional method. There are no pre-connected wires supplied, and this is marketed as a way to keep your switch box from overcrowding with wires. Unless you have only 3 wires + ground in your outlet box, you will have to add your own connections from the device to your wiring, with wire connectors. If you are buying this to avoid overcrowding in your box, you may end up being worse off because the wires that typically come with similar devices are quite flexible, versus the rigid wires you may have, or will have to buy. After you manage to push everything into your electrical box, the device itself works as described.

Suis-je tombé sur un citron ?

Cette minuterie me semblait parfaite pour mes besoins. Sauf qu'une fois installée impossible de la programmer. L'horloge fonctionnait mais les voyants bleus ne s'allumaient pas et le courant ne se rendait pas à la lumière. J'ai vérifié les connexions trois fois plutôt qu'une : même résultat. C'était peut-être un défaut de fabrication de cette minuterie-là. Mais je n'ai pas pris la chance de la faire remplacer par une autre parce que son installation est assez difficile à cause du peu de dégagement pour brancher les fils.

Easiest simple on/off timer

Easiest simple on/off timer. Programming on/off times and time of day is very simple. Only has 24 hour 1 day settings which means it functions the same every day of the year. Easy to reset for daylight savings.

El Temporizador No Es Adaptable a las Medidas Estándares de Placas Convencionales.

No solamente es engañosa la foto que parece que incluye la placa., sino que tanto las placas comerciales como las chalupas convencionales no se adaptan a las medidas del temporizador; por lo menos en México.
