Ideal for Irregular Surfaces
I use a lot of sandpaper in my projects, but I often find myself reaching for a sanding pad for those irregular or curved surfaces. Another thing that I enjoy about the sanding pads is that you can rinse them out and most times, a loaded-up pad can be reconstituted and used again. Unlike paper sandpaper. These pads are flexible, durable and easy to use.

Excellent Quality Foam Sanding Pads
I am a weekend woodworker, and I go through a ton of foam lined sandpaper. This type of sandpaper is great when you are sanding curved surfaces. I figured that this sandpaper would be of great quality, when I saw that it was made by Mirka, since they do produce some of the best Air sanders on the market. The sandpaper did not disappoint. It does not clog easily, last for a long time, and holds up to relatively aggressive use. My only disappointment with the sanding pads are, they are only lined with sandpaper on one side. I think for the price point, that these are listed at, double sided would have been nice. Overall, these are a very nice quality foam sanding pads. They work wonderful for curved surfaces. They're definitely priced higher than other comparable foam sandpaper, but you're paying for the brand with this one. I would recommend them.

Nice sandpaper sheets
This is a very fine sandpaper on top of foam sheets. I was using this on a hope chest that I wanted to make sure had a nice sanding and it worked great I was able to sand the find detail and it was comfortable that when I rubbed I had a good grip on the paper since it was thicker with the foam

Good sandpaper, handy to have foam backing.
Be careful not to use too much pressure, the paper can rip and if you are sanding a corner possibly hurt your hand. But if you use it carefully, it works quite well, and 150 grit is good for all around general use. It won't leave a perfectly smooth surface, but it will be good enough for most purposes. Excellent for smoothing fresh sawn boards and rounding sharp corners and edges. It will save you finding a block with foam, but you do pay extra for that handiness. If you want something that is ready to go quickly, these are it. The paper clears quite easily. I recommend these for their convenience.

Great Sandpaper, great idea .... pricey for what it is.
Mirka Gold is one of the best sandpapers on the market. I have used their discs for years and stand by the quality and lifespan of the product. These foam-back sanding squares are super handy to have around a woodworking shop. You can sand smooth corners and other odd contours without worrying about putting too much pressure with your hand and fingers. However, for 1/3 the price you can just get full sheets of Mirka Gold sandpaper and use a foam backer block. It take a bit more work to cut down the sheets and get the sanding block, but only you can decide if it is worth the time and money. Plus you have full sheets for other uses. If you need something quick and easy to use in your shop, you can't go wrong with these, however.

Functional and convenient for getting into those hard to sand areas - but pricey.
At a little over $2.00 per sheet, these small soft hand-sanding sheets seem pretty pricey for what they have to offer. Yes, they work well at easily getting into those hard to sand areas but I'm not sure they save me enough time over using standard sanding sheets. Still, they are a good product and I will get good use out of them.

I appreciate the cushioning
These blocks of foam sandpaper are very easy to use. They work well and I appreciate the fact that they do not rip like normal sandpaper when hand sanding. The padding also cushions against your fingers. I don't know if these would work with any machines or not because I haven't used them for that purpose. Made in China.
