Not a functional wastebasket due to the lid that opens inward

I wish I could have rated this higher because from a presentation viewpoint, this set looks good in my bathroom. But from a functionality viewpoint, which is just as important if not more, this just doesn't work so great for us. The toilet brush is just fine, though maybe a tad flimsy. But the trash basket is what annoys me. It's a bit small, which wouldn't be a big deal if the lid didn't have to take up so much space when it opens inwards. Which means that you can't actually fill it to the top unless you take the lid off completely. That is such a waste of space, again considering the size. It ends up being a big mess to leave the lid on and we are constantly having to take out the trash (more than we consider "normal") due to this. Overall, not a big fan of this set unless it's for the look of it.

Scratched, discolored trash can

The trash can came with a multitude of scratches and discolorations, especially on the lid but also on some of the diamonds on the sides. The functionality is there but the appearance is beyond disappointing. The brush has sturdy bristles and does its job well. There are no scratches or any other defects on the brush holder. The entire set, minus the nylon bristles of the brush is made of plastic and it is easy to keep clean. It’s a good size set for small bathrooms and I like that the contents of the trash can and the brush are hidden from view. Sadly, I can’t recommend this set due to the multiple cosmetic defects of the trash can.
