Comfort for my Mom, she is on oxygen
My 84 year old Mom is on oxygen, doing great Ann no complaints in in O2 canulla department. This is her second order of the 7 foot super soft Medine canula. Comfortable on her face, behind her ears & into her nostrils. We received cannulas from our medical supply company & they said soft but there was no comparison, the Medine super soft are 100% better. Thanks for the comfort, fair price & fast delivery through Amazon.

NO LONGER SUPERSOFT
Medline is sending out their traditional soft cannulas labeled as supersoft. If you research it you will find that they are not creating the standard cannulas with the smaller connectors. You now have to purchase their universal connectors which are bulky and catch on doors and corners as you attempt to go from room to room, More importantly for many of us they have pulled a fast one on us hoping we wont notice. They are sending out their regular so called soft cannulas labeled as supersoft. The ones they send out now are the same old style that doesn’t give because it is too firm so it ends up cutting into your nasal passage and doing harm to your nose. I suspect they are trying to lower production costs by only selling one type cannula with only the large universal connectors and one type cannula that is mislabeled as supersoft. Both the soft and the supersoft are the same rigid nose pieces many many of us cant use because they are too stiff and hurt. They are not the same supersoft you have gotten before. I ordered boxes of them because they were unavailable in supersoft version for some time. Now I see that they are selling the same cannulas labeled as two separate types. All they have done is slap supersoft labels on their old style soft cannulas’ Test for yourself if you have made the same mistake I did and try to bend the new mislabeled cannulas in the middle of the nose prongs and see how hard it is to bend them in the middle. They only bend at the very bottom of the nose prong. That is why these ones they have mislabeled as supersoft cut into your nose. If you have any supersoft original cannulas left you can bend them in the middle or anywhere along the nose prongs with ease because they used to be supersoft. That is why they worked so well. I suppose it is legal to change their product without notice or honest displays but it sure is not very ethical. They have lowered production costs by making only one cannula with the bulky so called universal connector that fit CPAP and a few other items for use and with the too firm nose prongs. For the vast majority of oxygen users the standard connectors work far better because we move around the home and will slide under doors and maneuver around corners without catching and forcing you to backtrack. Like me a lot of us were happy when they started selling a supersoft which bent with natural contours of your nose. I don’t think they deserve our business any longer. They also are now selling rubber style gaskets for 3 times the price of anyone else ajnd they are not the ones they show on the order page. They are just like the ones everyone else sells with even poorly milled brass surrounding the rubber. The order page image shows a thick rubber piece smooth around edges with a finely milled smooth brass around the rubber. The ones they send out at an inflated price have the jagged rubber rather than solid and they are less thick and harder surfaced.. The metal surrounding them was rough cut appearing like they had been smashed by a hammer to seat the rubber gasket. This is a sad ending to what I thought were high quality items that improved oxygen users experience. Please don’t rush to say that you have never had any problem with Medline because things have changed and quite suddenly they are producing something now that does not meet the same quality standards. Companies are getting by with these shell games by blaming it on covid related issues. Even if that was true they thought they would get by without letting their customers know. Even though they label them differently they are no longer different and no longer the high quality they once were. Don’t make the mistake I did and order boxes of them. If you have to see for yourself to believe it order the fewest amount of these cannulas they are marketing so you wont waste as much money as I did. There is a lot of competition and no need to remain loyal to a company that is no longer loyal to their customers, unwilling to reveal the changes they have made in products and marketing products that aren’t what they say they are.

Fantastic Cannulas
The cannulas are excellent. The tubes in the nose are soft and don’t cut the edges or fall out. The ear parts are so soft and aren’t hard like the regular soft ones. It has the universal connection, which makes it super easy to put on the nozzle. The tubing was thicker than I’ve seen but it doesn’t bother me and I don’t have to worry about the hose getting kinked up in the covers as I sleep. Excellent product and I will definitely buy another box when I run out of these.

Finally!
These are what I've been seeking. They are soft, don't hurt my ears or nose; and, I don't hear a whistling sound while sleeping.

Best Nasal Cannula Product on the market!
This is my second purchase for this product and for some reason my original review of the product has disappeared, maybe because the original version has changed vendors or ASIN. Nevertheless, Medline’s SuperSoft Nasal Oxygen Cannula are everything they say they are. My wife is on oxygen 24/7 and as you can imagine, sleeping with a nasal cannula, made of hard plastic like the Salter and other brands, leaves not only facial indentations, but it causes sores and other painful problems. These are not wholly without discomfort when sleeping but they are as good as you are going to get if you are a 100% side-sleeper (back sleepers should have no problem whatsoever); and they are equally better during daytime active use. The only complaint with ALL cannulas is the rigid plastic portion of the oxygen line just loves to curl and get in the way of normal activities. But the soft gel-like facial portion reduces stresses on the face, fits comfortably over the ears without causing discomfort over time and stays in the nose nicely. There is also a lack of the “plastic smell” other brands often have. After going through the last batch of 50, I guess re-purchasing a second batch of 50 should say it all, this is a very good product and worth the investment if you are considering. I will also note that since the last purchase of this Medline product, the standard connector end has changed to a “universal” end. It is wider now and I suspect that was a design change for a problem others have had which we did not. It still connects easily to the D or E size oxygen canister and equally easy to the double ended connector going to the Oxygen Concentrator if you have a 50+ foot line you wish to connect to. The main draw to this product is obviously the soft facial section since the regular tubing comprising most of the cannula is equally comparable to most good quality latex free oxygen lines.

Tubing not soft and plyable. Can't use them. Will try to donate to someone who can.
