This is by far my favorite primer. Even after trying WAY more expensive ones. Definitely see a difference in the reduction of redness and it dries evenly/ smoothly

Patch the potholes

I’ve a couple potholes in this lovely mug and found this primer is the perfect spackle to fill them. It doesn’t cake or ball up under foundation either. I have re-ordered many times. Happy to report it helps with the illusion of youth and health that keeps my marriage alive. Will continue to purchase

Favorite all-over primer.

I've been using this primer for years but I can't always find it in stores so now I get it here. Does what it says, tones down pink or ruddiness but still mostly sheer so it doesn't look like there's anything on your face. Mattifying lasts all day except for extremely oily places on me like my nose but still happy with it for the price.

Matte finish, non-greasy, light application! Perfect!

I love this primer! I don't wear makeup, but I do like my skin to look and feel smooth. I'm 36 and some of my skin age is beginning to show, and I was looking for something that would help with fine lines. I apply my daily moisturizer, eye cream, and this primer and my skin feels so smooth! It's non-greasy, applies a bit like sunscreen but dries with a matte finish. It doesn't have an unpleasant smell either. I've always had a very red pigment to my skin, and when I get hot or laugh too hard, my face flushes so red it's almost purple. This primer seriously reduces that cherry hue! I've been looking for years for a product that didn't leave my skin feeling greasy or heavy, but also gave me the results I wanted. I have incredibly sensitive skin and can't wear any foundation, whether liquid or powder, I also can't wear any eye makeup except a little eye shadow from time to time. This primer reduced the appearance of capillaries around my eyes and didn't burn my eyes either. I will definitely be buying again.

Works for a little redness coverage

If you have mild rosacea, this will cover it. Anything more than mild redness it is not effective. It is a nice primer and I use less foundation when I use this product.

Skin primer

This product is brilliant for evening out skin tone and disguising any redness. It’s perfect if you don’t want to use foundation but do want to camouflage any imperfections. However, this particular product made my face sting. Which is odd because I use a very similar product by the same company and have no problems with it. I did wonder why there were two versions so am guessing they each have slightly different ingredients.

Actually works amazingly well!

I was shocked by how well this worked with filling small lines and large pores but also reducing the appearance of redness. I'd have paid double for this- it's that good!

Good product, will buy again

This product neutralizes the red in my complexion and provides a bit of blur that hides the texture in my skin quite nicely. It works well enough to wear without the addition of foundation .

Lightweight, doesn't cake or pile up under other makeup

So I'm not exactly a fan of maybelline to be honest but this product surprised me. It worked well enough to smooth out the skin and doesn't pile or look cakey under several layers of makeup. I can't say it erases redness much, it does have some effect and maybe reduces it lightly... but not much. It's best used under concealer or foundation if you really want it to work well.

Really works as described

I don’t have redness on my face, but do have fine lines & some texture. This works like a dream in blurring & evening them out. Makeup applies smoothly and makes it lasts very long even in the heat & humidity. It works almost as well as the Benefit Porefessional Primer except the Porefessional works somewhat better in filling up the pores. This costs about 25% of the Benefit one and is really good. Is not runny, somewhat akin to a thick lotion like consistency (but not thick like a cream) and gives a matte finish. For the price, its a must buy.
