At first, unsure… but it worked!

Changing the impeller silenced my Penguin 100 which I have had for years but started to make clunking noise and heat up the filter motor. The old impeller had started to bend during filter chamber clean outs. With the new impeller, flow is great…strong enough to turn the bio wheel…and the filter runs cooler and quieter. Fixed the awful noice that was being made by the old one.

If your hearing an obnoxious loud rattling in your filter it's likely that this needs to be replaced. So glad I bought this one part instead of buying a whole new filter system.
