It sets up easily and was very reliable

We used this all summer attached to our pontoon boat. It sets up easily and was very reliable. We did find that it cooks very hot, especially with greasy foods such as brats. They must quickly be moved to the top rack and heat turned down very low. I took it apart a few times and scrubbed it in the sink and it actually tolerated water well and cleaned up pretty well. I tried to keep the igniter as dry as possible. We sure have some jealous boaters around us when we fire this baby up. I looks good too! We use the Magma Dual Extended rail mount that holds it over the water and we have no complaints.

Close, but not quite

The vent space in the back, between grill top and bottom, is so big that getting the grill really hot is impossible. I had to Jerry-rig a tin heat shield to reduce the space to get it to work properly. Spending this much on a grill that you have to Jerry-rig to get to work properly is pretty poor.

Great Grill

Ordered for our boat. Have used it several times. Just like anything new you have to get used to it. We have grilled hotdogs, steak, fish and veggies. Have really enjoyed. Was disappointed that I had to order cover separate.

Too hot but it’s still good.

Too hot at the lowest temperature. I had to cook my hamburgers with the lid open all the time. I wish it had a lower temperature.

Shodding shipping and missing parts

Great grill but the box arrived in tatters, with the grill just thrown in with broken packaging and missing parts. I needed it for the day after it arrived so had to call the manufacturer to get the missing parts air shipped at my expense. No apologies, no nothing except a $25 air bill!

Perfect for our boat

Replaced our Magma kettle grill with this one so we can cook more at one time. Love this one! Amazon price was much better than West Marine.

Worth it!!!

This grill was awesum... Took it on our boat in camping trip with my family, we were supposed to use my sisters grill at camp and the Catalina on the water. Well my sisters grill had a hiccup so we had to use the Catalina ask weekend: coffee, breakfast, lunch dinner the whole 9 it was a champ!!!
