THE BEST foundation

*UPDATE* 1 YEAR LATER I still LOVE this foundation! It's a perfect weight and blends BEAUTIFULLY. I use the LORAC PRO Blurring Translucent Powder to set it and it lasts into the evening without a hitch and doesn't transfer onto my clothes (orjet peoples' clothes). BEST of all (for me) is that it doesn't settle into my almost-40 skin or dry it out, so my skin stays looking young and healthy. It also doesn't clog my pores! The ONE bottle has lasted for about 8 months, too! (End update) I found this foundation after a thorough Amazon search and combing through the reviews, in search of a liquid foundation with staying power that would look good on my almost-middle-aged (38yo), dry, sensitive skin. I LOVE the variable coverage of this product and how it feels on my skin! I don't feel the need to set it with powder (I don't want to, as it will make my skin look older), as it lasts all day. Even to get medium-to-full coverage, very little of this product is needed, so I don't mind paying the higher price. Note: I had to try several shades to find the right one (I thought I was much more fair-skinned than I really am), but Amazon accepted the returns and refunded the cost every time. I really like that LORAC has so many shade options!

MAKE UP

I LOVE MY MAKE UP BUT THE CAP WAS BROKE, I CA STILL USE IT BUT THE BOTTLE WON'T STAND UP. BUT ITS GOOD.

This is the best cover up I’ve found.

This makeup is a little heavier to really cover up blemishes and even out skin tone. They carried it at Kohl’s forever then discontinued it so I had to look around and found it on Amazon thank goodness!

Great product for me, an old novice

I’ve never really worn foundation in all my years and there’s a lot of them LOL but thought I should try this one and I’m so glad I did! It’s as sheer or as heavy as you want it to be… (depending on how much you put on ) But it simply does not cake on your face or in your wrinkles… I find that it lasts all day! I think if you try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent Foundation! Good Coverage, Long-Lasting, Feels Great, Non-Cakey, Good for Skin

Tried numerous brands, using no price limit, when I noticed my foundation wasn’t working as well on my skin once I got to my late 40’s. I tried all the best brands’ anti-aging foundations. Lorac was not the most expensive nor well-known. It far surpassed all others. I wanted a pretty decent level of coverage because I grew up in the sun, but really don’t like caking; I’d rather have flaws show than caking. I also can’t stand the feel of make-up, so wanted a natural feel. It was also important that it was good for my skin. This one covers, with no caking, has good ingredients, and I can’t feel it at all. I have forgotten to put it on until I check the mirror; can’t feel a difference. It lasts all day, requires no touch up, and I could sleep in it if it weren’t a bad thing to do for skin. I’ve been using it for a number of years (they changed the “model” name but same quality).

Long time fave!

I have used a lot of foundations over the years. Lorac has been my favorite. Great coverage with no caking. It’s easy to blend with my facial sponge, and I only need a small amount.

10/10 worth the money

Yes, these are a bit expensive. But, that being said they are the ONLY brand of foundation that doesn’t break out my mom’s face. She’s tried every kind at ultra, Sephora etc. I’m really glad Amazon has it because it’s extremely hard to find in stores!!! Looks great, lightweight, no odor, doesn’t look cakey.

This foundation was lighter than I expected (and I have pale skin), so I recommend either contacting the company to try a sample or going one shade darker. It does smell a bit like sunblock (I've had other SPF foundations that didn't have that smell) but that didn't bother me. I only had to apply it once a day (did two coats) and it covers blemishes/spots very well. That said, I ended up sending this product back because I have super sensitive skin and had an allergic reaction to it. Do NOT let this keep you from trying it--every person's skin is different and my facial skin is super picky about what goes on it. If not for the reaction, I would've keep using this product (though I would've bought a shade darker).
