Strong and Tough

Loctite makes a tons of great stuffs, including this one. Very strong adhesive power and i cannot even feel a play after sticking my handgun mount to the wall. Be sure to read the instruction and use alcohol swab to clean the surface before installation. One thing worth noting is that the tape after peeling off the protective film is pretty thin, if you want something for gap filling, this may be the product you are looking for.

My son told me to get this stuff

He suggested it for a recessed light in the kitchen where the flange kept wanting to separate from the ceiling. I was going to go with an epoxy but that would have been rather permanent. So far this is working. It doesn't have a *lot* of holding power. It has *some*. So use it in light to moderate duty applications. It's not going to hold like duct tape or epoxy.

Great Adhesion and Quite Thin

This mounting tape was perfect for what I needed. It held up well on metal walls even with moisture and chemicals used for cleaning the walls. Still holding up the items 6 months later.

works mostly

used this tape for holding a window cover in place...didn't stick well on the inside aluminum window frame as the temperature reaches over 135 degrees F. ...but it works fine on everything else I tried it on...

very strong ...

it has held up to the promise so far ... holding two solar panels on the roof of my F-250 in the scorching sun and washings and highway wind. make sure you get more than than you think you need because the rolls are not what you call generous sizes ... also be careful when you apply it incorrectly and reapply the strip it will lose a lot of it's holding strength, so if it's holding something heavy discard that strip and redo it again.

Mount at your own risk

Thought this tape would hold as described - does not. Used for mounting as instructed and within 4 weeks the mounting began to sag. Tape is available in one size 3/4 inch - The mounted object attempted to wall mount weighed about 2 lbs. Specs describe a holding capability of 100 lbs.

Good for reattaching protector strip/moulding on car door

I bought this to reattach the metal protector strip on the side of my car door based on my dad's recommendation (he's a mechanic) as it had started to peel off and stick out. I washed the surface first with hot water and then wiped it down with rubbing alcohol and so far it's working well. The instructions say to use it at a minimum of 10°C and I actually used it at -1°C so that might be affecting its effectiveness. However, it's been several days and the strip has mostly remained attached (just a little lifting) so I think this works quite well for that purpose (better than any of the various glues we've tried). It is very strong tape and in my (and my dad's) opinion is a good option for mounting or attaching things that have proven difficult to attach.

Long delivery, little adhesion.

It took a long time to arrive as it was sent from USA but nothing on the listing indicated this. It would not hold the item I wanted it to, which was a fog light to the inside of car bumper, there was just no adhesion.

Agreed. Junk. Far from a 'power grab' this is a money grab. Serves me right for not having read the reviews first. DOH! Not at all as advertised.
