Great idea but frustrating

I love the idea of this toy and my son really wanted to play with it but unfortunately the top of the hippo just wont stay on at all making it near impossible to use the toy. Good quality toy but flawed design. Hope they improve it because it will be an awesome fine motor toy

Fun toy

My son loves his hippo! We even play with it in the bath. He has been learning to use his fine motor skills to put the birds in. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that I can’t secure the top so the birds fall out too easily when cleaning up

Love this toy and want to give a greater review but the top of the hippo doesn't stay on so very difficult for the children to use

So cute!

This toy is great for young toddlers, our daughter is 13 months and loves it. I like that the pegs are little birds! The whole set is hard plastic and very durable, will hold up fine to teething, and all pieces are big enough not to choke on. The birds are numbered 1-5 and each is marked with a different shape. All birds fit in all the holes, and they store inside the hippo.

They’ll love it!

Bought this for my twins. They love it, they’re 18 months and still put things in their mouth. These are tough enough to not break. No a chocking hazard and it keeps them entertained trying to put all the pieces together! Def recommend!

Fun and educational!

My 20 month old loves this toy! The birds are the perfect size for toddler hands. She loves placing the birds onto the hippo and moving the colors around. When spun the birds make a fun clicking sound for an extra sensory experience. We are using this toy to teach colors, numbers and counting as well. As a parent, I love that the birds store inside the hippo. It makes cleanup simple and helps prevent missing pieces! The toy is well made and I expect it to last a long time!

Great learning toy

Can’t fault. Fantastic learning toy, my little girl loves it and she is 2, probably could get from the age of 1, helps with learning colours and motor skills, and counting.

More for the younger age!

Cute toy. I do think it's more for thr younger age though, my boy is 2 and got bored quite easily. He knows his numbers & colours so I think its for a child that is just learning this stage. It's a good idea you can store the pegs. But my boy gets annoyed as the top bit of the hippo comes of quite easy. Reasonable sized. Arrived on time. Well packaged.

Excellent toy for preschool children.

Excellent toy for preschool children. It is a very eye-catching toy so children will be drawn to it. The toy is mostly the hippo which has a storage compartment for the little birdies that will help young children learn as well as improve motor skills. They can grab the birds and move them about which will help them develop their movement. Young children always look a little clumsy when doing things that require their hands. This is the kind of toy that helps them develop their movement so it is smoother and more 'grown-up like'. The toy also has some extra learning to it as the birds are in different colours and have some numbers and shapes drawn on them so when they start talking, they can start not only developing motor skills but also expanding their vocabulary.
