Cute
We bought these little two to go with the larger coding Dino. Maybe I should have read better, they are only about an inch big each and have little wheels on bottom to push like a toy car. Not electronic like the big ones! They are cute and cheap, but just FYI they don’t “do” anything on their own.

Really Cute!
My girls love these and have been packing them around everywhere. We haven't had a chance to code with them much because they just want to hold them. Ha!

Adorable pets to teach coding for young children
If your kiddos love pets and creativity this is a perfect toy for them! Kids can learn how to code and teach their pets how to perform different tasks. The pets are so cute and the toy is a great hands on activity for young, inquiring minds. These would pair perfectly with Ranger and Zip from Learning Resources. The puppies are so cute and you can add friends with other animals in the series!

Fun Way to Introduce Coding to Little Kids
These cute little pets provide a fun and scree-free way to introduce coding concepts to little kids. The included 20 page storybook is packed with fun coding activities that kids can follow. A great way to work on sequencing, logic, problem solving, and more! My 5 year old loved following the stories with Fluffy and Buffy and completing the challenges on her own. For even more fun we added these bunnies to our Coding Critters set with bunny pals Bopper, Hip and Hop. Lot's of fun learning with these little toys!

Scam to work you need another item
Waste of money. Not as described. You have to buy something else for these to work. And no directions with the toy. Don't buy unless you can afford the rest. Such a scam!!!!!

No fish?
We got this as an addition to the bigger kit, but they didnt come with a little blue fish as advertised. Not sure why it's showing that it does? It's 2 cats, a bowl and the booklet.

Not good value for money
This is a waste of money! The rabbits are like a Kinder Egg toy. The book is tiny with very few tasks in. The tasks are very simple my 5yr old could do it with no help. Too simple to repeat. So once you’ve completed the book you can’t redo it. Get a kinder egg, pen and paper and save your money.

Really basic
The price tag reflects how basic this product actually is. I was expecting some tiny, programmable animals, a bit like what my daughter uses in Infant School. The reality is that you get a couple of plastic toys with wheels and a glossy booklet with some basic activities. There are no electronics, no batteries required in this set. It is simple coding that does not require any technology. The small, glossy booklet is intended as an introduction to coding with key words highlighted and capitalised. There are different activities to complete, some using the plastic animals, including sequencing, directions and categorising. At the back of the booklet are some small, removable cards that are your “directions”: forwards, backwards, left and right. This is to guide the animals for some of the activities. To be honest, I am not really sure what the purpose of the dogs are. They have a removable bone and a water bowl; my children are going to get more fun and enjoyment out of racing the pets rather than using for “coding”. This is such a limited resource that I think it would be best used in the classroom as a foundation to coding, before developing these skills with more complex tasks. At home, this is going to offer a limited distraction before boredom kicks in. In conclusion, I am really disappointed with this set and think it is decidedly average. Yes, it teaches the basics of coding but I think there is scope to improve the product and increase its longevity.

Wonderfully engaging book
I love educational books that captivate a child and make them engage with the teaching material. This one is cleverly designed using pets on wheels and a little feeding bowl - items children love! The activities in the book are well thought out and make full use of the pets and bowl to encourage the child to participate in the activity. The note to parents highlights the range of skills the activities cover and show how well thought out the educational aspect is. The colours and size were well thought out too. The size will fit into the smallest bag and children love pocket sized toys. Excellent product - fun, educational and exceptional value.
