Very Similar to Discover Toys Pegboard
I used to have one of these from Discovery Toys when my kids were small and they really enjoyed playing with it. I bought this for a 2.5 and 1-year-old. They both enjoy playing with it.

Versatile Set Works for Hand Therapy at Home
This LEARNING RESOURCES STACKING SHAPES PEG BOARD is a good quality product. It has lots of brightly colored, stackable pegs in five shapes (star, square, circle, triangle, hexagon). Importantly, it has a plastic base with stable holes that are sized to easily accept the pegs. (This means it is a far better choice than thePeg Board Set with Pattern Card , which has a foam base with holes that close up so it's hard to insert the pegs.) In this set, the different shapes can be placed in any hole, and the different shapes can be interchangeably stacked. I purchased this set for my husband to use in occupational therapy, in conjunction with a Saebo glove, for the purpose of restoring some use to his stroke-damaged hand. It's a good, inexpensive set for home-use OT purposes. It provides visual interest and variety, along with a genuine but attainable challenge.

Nice Toy
Bought this for my 18 month old daughter and she loves stacking the pieces and sorting the shapes and colors. The pieces are hard plastic and very lightweight. They sit on top of one another and easily fall over if accidentally touched while stacking. This would frustrate my daughter and cause her to begin crying everytime they would fall over. Will reintroduce once she's a little older and understands it's ok if they fall. Wish it came with more pieces as the little parts are easily lost.

but I don't like the plastic base which I thought was foam
Grandson - 2 1/2 - enjoys this, but I don't like the plastic base which I thought was foam. The pieces are extremely loose, stack easily, and then easily come apart. I suppose that could be a good thing, but it encourages smashing towers of blocks which go everywhere, so for that reason I cannot give the toy a higher rating as I find the block mess annoying.

Great shapes & colors!
I really like this peg board. I am an early intervention autism teacher and this is perfect for my kiddos that have trouble with fine motor issues. They can grasp the shapes easily and the pegs are not difficult to place in the board. I am also a mom to an almost 3 year old who does not have any developmental delays and he thoroughly enjoys it as well! The only thing I don't love about it is the plastic board. I wish it were foam or something a bit softer so the pegs stayed in place.

Colorful, fun pegs. Flimsy board.
Bought this for my 18 month old with stacking needs :) I had something like this to play with as a kid. The pegs are great - good quality, sturdy, fun colors, good shapes. The board is rather flimsy and I am concerned it might break sometime when she steps on it (kids do such things, you know.... the board we had growing up was VERY sturdy). My daughter really enjoys it, though, and no problems so far.

great for sorting and separating by color and/or shape
My 2 year old has spent 30 minutes straight, very focused, organizing by color, creating separate stacks or one tall stack. My 4.5 year old is even somewhat entertained. Worthy of note is the storage of the toy. The plastic cover mentioned in other reviews is, in my opinion, just part of the packaging and not meant to be a storage cover. True, however, that when the toy isn't played with, optimal storage isn't offered but I found it easy to just put it all in a big zipper storage bag, therby avoiding the problem of 25 pegs scampering off (inevitably under the sofa) when someone decides to tip over.

Great toy
Very good toy! My 16 month old seems content to sit and play with this. Pieces are easy for him to hold and place in the board.

Great value, eye catching, coordination & learning toy
Great value for money. My son has autism and loves shapes, putting things in a sequence/order. His support worker used this with him in an engaging exercise and he absolutely loved it so much I have had to buy it for him. Bonus that the price was under £10 too! It's great for smaller hands as the pegs are the chunkiest I've seen around for younger kids to play with. If you have a child that is learning shapes and colours this is a fun activity to do with them. Very pleased with this purchase.

Good in theory but it was return for us
I really wanted this toy to work for my toddler son. He is in the stage of liking to build and stack things. Unfortunately like some other reviews I read, the pegs fit in the holes loosely. The slightest touch or graze knocked the peg out. He really loved the concept but would get frustrated when they would fall out/over. It has potential for fine motor, learning shapes, colors, patterns etc but at the end of the day if the peg won’t stay put it’s kinda pointless.
