Grandkids loved them!

Created "Bookworm Bags" for my grandchildren to help my daughter with homeschooling during the pandemic (and promote reading!). Included these (they love them!) along with Kindle Readers, lap desks, gummi worms, and cute worm toys. A huge hit!

Great way to explore measurement

I purchased the inchworms, the inchworm rulers, and the multi-sized worms along with Leo Lioni's inch by inch to compliment the Sid the science kid non-standard measurement exploration. My three year old and I spent a week exploring the different kinds of measurements. These tools were fantastic! We used the inchworms to measure all kinds of things, even mommy and daddy. My daughter loves to measure with her worms! I think these tools really helped hammer in the concept in a fun and interesting way. Bonus, we got to use the tub of worms for our estimation exercise. I just wish i could get the cards so we could do even more activities!

Great learning fun

This is a wonderful addition to any sand/play yard that incorporated sorting/matching/counting into fun and interesting self-contained play time. The 'worms' are different sizes, lending themselves to many different learning activities, as well as many different imaginative games. Amazingly, the boys AND the girls love these critters, the bright colors keep them from being too 'gross' for the little girls. Great for counting skills for preschools, color identification for the younger groups, and fractions for the elementary ages. Limitless uses. Washable, durable, hours of fun. Everytime you take them out, they can be used for something different, either adult or child directed play time. Great purchase.

Our younger kids love using these to measure everything

Our younger kids love using these to measure everything! While they don't understand the correspondence to actual inches, these help them create a foundation to layer build those skills upon. These are a great way to show little ones that math can be fun.

Lots of fun!

As with almost anything from Learning Resources, this set was a winner. We've used this to measure almost everything in the house, plus my son has used these for sorting, comparing "big, medium, and little", and they have even provided him with hours of imaginative play as well.

Wormingly Wonderful!

These are the cutest worms with little smiley faces, the tiniest is adorable! Instantly appealing made from quality plastic, segmented and flexible so beautifully tactile. Seventy two worms made up of six sets of twelve in vibrant colours: Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green, Red and Purple. Each set has three worms in each approx length: 4 " 96 mm, 3 " 71 mm, 2 " 45 mm and 1 " 25 mm. The enclosed leaflet gives some ideas of use, "Getting Started"( free play ), "Sorting Activity"( starting with 2 colours in 2 sizes adding more after completion ), "Patterning Activity" ( simple colour or size patterns becoming increasingly harder ), "Measuring Activity" (measure objects, how many worms long? ) and "Creative Worms Activity" ( 3-6 players: worms inside a bag, take turns to pick one, keep if it matches yours )" . Our container was hexagonal and smaller than I imagined. This number of worms don't take up much space! It's fiddley getting the worms out as the opening is quite small, unless tipped upside down and shaken. I've found a sandwich box for ours, much easier to access the contents. There is a pack of 'Worm Activity Cards' available, specifically for use with this set. My little one enjoys sorting:size/colour/amounts, hiding, washing, talking to, measuring, comparing, imaginative play, filling containers:volume/capacity, bath play, transporting, burying in sand, selling, wrapping in paper/foil/tissue, naming them, devising stunts, dropping them through cardboard tubes, cooking and printing with these worms and they don't mind one bit! This has proved to be a wormingly wonderful purchase!

A good educational toy

I first bought some of these worms years ago for use in my Reception class. They are great for sorting, measuring and weighing. As well as this they make a great resource for imaginative play. The children relate to the different sizes as families and my worms have had all sorts of adventures. Since leaving teaching my grandchildren have loved playing with them. I did remove the “baby worms” when they were young! I have now bought sets for my children to use at home as they so enjoyed playing with Granny’s worms. Fully recommended.

Very popular toy

Great learning resource - learning should be fun and these worms seem to set of their imaginations in amazing ways - they sort them into family groups, size, colour, rescue them, all sorts of games. My son named them kiwis and built a duplo home for them. I look after kids of various ages and they seem to capture their imagination as well as having a practical purpose.
