So happy this worked!

I have a 1949 house and every repair I've had to do has been super complicated and more $ that it needed to be. My tub faucet had been leaking for years, and it went from a drip to a steady stream. I put it off because this isn't a standard part, and the plumbing is old and usually stuck together hard and fragile. I finally took it apart, found this part after looking for a long time going off photos, didn't think it would work, but super happy I was able to just screw this one in and presto - no leak at all! Really happy. = )

No more leak!!!

Worked great I had it installed within 10 minutes popped out the old one put in the new one.... No more leak... This is a pretty hard to find item, very few stores carry this item. My house was built in the 50s so I'm sure I am replacing original hardware!!!

Difficult to stop leak past packing event with packing nut tightened excessively. Would not buy this product again.
