Fixed the leaking problem

This elbow is actually two pieces. The treaded end with washer needs to be removed with a vice. Teflon tape applied and screwed back together and tighten with channel locks and a rag to keep from damaging the treads. Mine had some dings but the tape took care of that. So far no leaks.

bought because of "people who bought this also bought this...." I think there was a conflict with the faucet we bought from the same manufacturer. NPT to NPS not good. Better to read all the descriptions before making a purchase. Changed the nipple out and had better results. Still have a drip after half a dozen tries. Will learn to live with it.

I needed this type of fitting, knowing the threads are loose I used RTV silicone instead of Teflon tape and have not had any leaks.

(TEFLON BEFORE INSTALLATION.) Didn't realize these where 2 piece part 90° . Use an INTERNAL PIPE WRENCH to avoid damaging the threads.

Waste of money.

Completely useless, you can buy better connections to attach your faucet to the water lines than this. I didn’t use any of these in the end. The threaded portion is only long enough to go through the drywall and that is not a good way to mount a faucet as it is soft and will eventually get loose over time. These faucets need to be mounted in something solid like a 2x4. This means longer connector. Waste of money, just pick up these parts at a good hardware store.
