Kohler quality

This is the 4th Kohler shower head of style I've installed, 2 at our principal residence, 2 in our vacation home. Kohler quality, I don't even consider any other brand of plumbing fixtures.

The Best

I purchased most of all the fixtures for my newly remodeled bathroom and did a lot of research on the shower head. Since on my travels, I got to use a lot of different styles of shower heads, I knew I did not want a rain shower. I picked this Kohler one because not only were the reviews excellent, it sounded like it had the various water sprays I was interested in. Well, now that I've had a chance to use it, I can tell you that it is exactly what I wanted and has the nice strong spray that I wanted. I purchased the brushed nickel, which looks great with the trim of my shower doors and single-handle faucet.

Kohler shower head

After trying at least 6 different shower heads I finally found a good one. The price was fair considering what I paid for the one I replaced. The nickel finish is of high quality and the 4 different flow nozzles were a great engineering feature. It may be my water quality, but after using it for a month it clogged. If you find yours clogging my solution was to remove the head and toss away the fabric filter. Not to worry, there are two filters. In addition to the fabric one there is a metal mesh filter. I don't believe it changed the pressure flow.

Not as durable as I hoped.

I bought three of these over the past few years because I loved them so much. The various options for spraying are great and it is easy to use. Sadly one of the three that has been in use for just over a year is broken :( the ball joint won’t hold the head in place so it just droops all the time now.

I love it. As some has suggested, this has some plastic parts inside but I still feel it is well built and have been using it for a year and no drips or issues. The 4 different spray is a nice feature I was looking for in an upgrade of my bathroom.

After removing the restrictor the thing worked great. Best shower ever. Feels like my face got pressure washed.
