This product is great easy to put together, easy to follow instructions, the parts seem of great quality and look good. My only issue was the “Lego” mats came like in the picture. I know I could easily go buy super glue and fix it but i shouldn’t have to,

Perfect size for my 2 y.o.

Perfect size for my 2 yo's room. Only one I could find online that wasn't huge. A little pricey but it's pretty sturdy. Although, the Lego top, just like all the other reviews say, was already all peeling off big time when I took it out of the box. The trains are cheap but really cute. My son is too young to care. And really I bought it for the table, the trains were just an added bonus.

A great table except for one design problem

First off, you can't ask for an easier table to put together. It's extremely easy to assemble. Bonus points for having the train landscape and the Lego surfaces already glued to the playing surface. And it's pretty solid. Because of its size, I was worried that my two kids wouldn't have enough room to spread out on it, but that hasn't been the case. The fact that the Lego side is divided into four colors creates natural borders and my kids have taken right to staying in their designated zones. However, having the storage under the playing surface really does not work out very well. The kids have to pick up the playing surface to get to their Lego pieces, which results either in pieces sliding onto the floor, or one of the kids screaming because the other child is moving the surface around. Also, the access slots under the playing surface might be good for toddler hands to reach in and rummage around, but I scuff my adult knuckles every time I go in there. I haven't run into any piece compatibility problems. The kids have been using the supplied blocks and some regular Legos and everything works fine. All in all, it's a good table, but it would be much better if the designers had gone with some kind of drawer or bin approach to storing pieces instead of requiring kids to lift up the top to get to them. This might not be much of an issue if one child is playing with the table, but it's definitely a little dicier with two kids.

Cheaply made

I wanted to love this. I bought it for my 2 year old son for Christmas because he loves train tables, I liked this one because it wasn’t big and I didn’t want one that took up alot of space. He opened it on the 25th of December and by today January 3rd the top part is already broken. The table itself it fine, but the top part that is removable is about as sturdy as cardboard. Tried to contact Amazon to resend a top replacement but wanted me to send the whole thing back. It’s already put together so didn’t wanna even bother. I just wanted the top replacement. Save your money and buy something else, if it breaks that easy in less than two weeks I can’t imagine it’ll hold up much longer. Such a shame!

Legos & Train.

Very easy to assemble. 4 yr old loved both sides. More sturdy than I had imagined it would be.

Legos

Would have gave 5 stars. But how the board has 4 different color plates. They have a little space that you can't really notice between them, that makes it to where you cannot put a lego over the two base plates to connect them. Also if you have bigger lego pieces or your own, or baseplates, they are difficult to attach to the table. Other than those two issues its a good buy. The table IS compatible with real legos. And also Mcfarlane legos, (five nights at freddys) for the most part. The characters didn't attach and there was a couple pieces that didn't attach to the table. But still buildable. In the pictures. The dark green legos are the ones that came with the table, and the light green lego, is a real lego. Lego brand is a tiny bit bigger but not enough to make a difference. The picture of the actual table. The yellow base plate he is using his McFarlane legos, the blue baseplate is lego brand, the red baseplate is the legos that came with with table, and the green baseplate is a mix of all three legos.

Highly Recommend!

We purchased this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She loves to build legos so we thought this was great way for her to have a separate space to build and store her legos. At 16 inches tall I was worried it would be short for my tall daughter, however, now as she plays with it, the size is perfect. Standing over it, she can reach all the sides or sit down to play with it. A favorite part for me is the storage space underneath which is almost 4 inches tall. Great size for a small container to hold the legos and train set. The legos included are a bit on the cheap side, but work fine. The duplos we have do fit, just not perfect (she received the new princess duplo sets for her birthday as well). The train set is really nice. It's a light weight table and slides easily on carpet which is great as my daughter can slide it to the middle of the room then back to the wall when she is done. We considered multiple lego tables, especially ones with the art space on the reverse, but decided our daughter can do art anywhere so having the option for legos and a train set was more versatile. Plus, she love to use her miniature dolls with the train set side. After doing the research and seeing it in action, I would look no further than this lego table. At a great price on Amazon (or on sale at Toys R Us) it's well worth it.

bad workmanship and quality control

Disappointing Christmas present. lego top is coming apart. table is decent material and easy to assemble but bad workmanship ands quality control makes this product unusable.

Third time lucky!

Bought this for my granddaughter to help her standing and strengthening her legs whilst playing. It is ideal but we had to send two previous orders back because they were damaged. The toy is very stable and I think it will last. We are going to look for a piece of wipeable drawing board to fit into it as it would also make a great drawing table using dry-wipe pens and good for plasticine or play dough.

Worth every penny!!

I was skeptical buying this...I really wanted it, but reviews on this seemed to go up and down between different sites. I found a great deal and decided to go for it...and SO happy I did. Set up was a breeze(about 5 minutes, maybe even less) and its a good sturdy product. My 5yr old twin boys have spent so much time with this already and one side doesn't stay up to long before they turn it over and play something else. My older 2kids even love sitting down and they all build on their own squares!! The under storage is fantastic, I throw all their train pieces under there and then just use a separate container for all the blocks(which does work great with other brands) Santa definitely got it right this year, so happy to have 2 great play options without taking up too much space!!:)

Got this table for my 1 yr old, its a great table. He's almost 2 yr now, and I think we can have much joy of it years ahead. Haven't used the "LEGO" side of the table yet, but think we will soon. Use the space under to put away some toys :)

great all round

sturdy table, easy to assemble. great for storing toys etc as well. can be used as a general table on the train track side as it is a completely flat surface. bit pricy, but well worth it as it seems it will last for years.
