Sturdy but delicate feeling, great handle, cute design

I got this mug because I'd been gifted their Turtle mug a while back and love it, so I wanted the cat one as well. I love the handles (perfect for the way I hold mugs), the large capacity, and the thin lip/rim. If you have mobility or spatial awareness issues and tend to clunk glasses into your teeth if the rim is too wide, these (and other thin-rimmed mugs) are great. They're porcelain so they feel delicate while also feeling sturdy; they also don't seem to stain, even when coffee or tea is left in them overnight (whoops....). My one disappointment and the reason it lost a star was that unlike its sibling, this mug has minor top-coat glaze imperfections (not the sealing glaze, but the silky-finish final coat) - while there's a silky glaze on most of the mug, it seems that it's missing or simply more matte-feeling at the top of the handle where it meets the body, which I notice because I tend to rest my thumb there when moving/lifting the mug. While it's not the end of the world, it breaks the sensory continuity experience (for lack of a better way to put it): one part of your hands feels a silky finish, while another part feels a slightly-disconcerting-for-me matte finish where it expects more smooth. Obviously, given my rating, I still love the mug, but I do pick a different one on days where I'm more sensitive to that sensation (my fellow neuro-diverse folks probably know that feeling).

Great gift

My family knows that coffee and cats are linked for me. This is a lovely big mug abounding with whimsical black cats. There's a fun sentiment inside the cup that keeps the mood light too. I also have the octopus cup and gave turtle to a friend. Very sturdy and nice grip too.

Adorable!

Love these Karma mugs! They are the perfect size and their artwork is so cute! I bought this for myself with a gift card that someone game me. For a while, my husband would "steal" my mug so I kind of have to hide it haha! At least I have a gift idea for him when his birthday rolls around... Also, they wash beautifully in the dishwasher, no fading etc.

This mug was far too expensive for a made in China mug!

The design is terrific and the quality is good for a Chinese ceramic mug but the price was rediculous. I have never paid that much even for beautiful bone China.
