"529 Pieces/50 Builds"...Kinda

Son loves this product, and we have had lots of fun with it so far - no complaints. However, the instruction booklet is a bit of a misnomer. The booklet covers some builds, and minimally at that, culminating in a couple page spread of a couple dozen images of fully completed builds that are apparently included in the 50 in this box. No instructions, no progress pictures, not even full page pictures. Some of the pictures are so small you can barely tell what they are supposed to be, let alone figure out how to build them. If you advertise a product as containing 50 builds, the instructions for them should be included. More accurately, without consulting the book for reference, I'd estimate 25 builds and then 25 pictures of other things made with K'nex. Still, excellent product, otherwise.

Perfect gift for 10 y.o.

My son was really happy to get this as birthday present. Engine makes the whole difference. All wheels and other parts are totally fine. The box could have been at least one third smaller, but it's not critical.

Hours of Entertainment

The possibilities are endless. My kids love this and play with it every day, creating new things. My big complaint is the motor box doesn't work/ works sporadically. I'm thinking the batteries don't stay in place which is very frustrating for the kids after they've worked together to build something that should be motorized.

Son Loves Them!

My son wants to get into engineering/ building when he gets older. With that and his love of robotics, this was perfect to get him started. He also has ADHD, among some other things, so finding something that gets him motivated, settled and relaxed can be an obstacles in itself. This has worked wonders. He absolutely loves it and already asking for additional sets. I consider that a win!

Very nice toy. My 6 year old grandson and his Dad really had fun with this. They both loved it. Very educational building set for children.

Great for a rainy day

My 10 and 7 year olds were delighted with this set. It proved a little tricky at times with some of the models but it’s a good way to keep children entertained and helps with problem solving and following instructions. Instructions for all models aren’t included which is a shame but they more are available online. It’s a good set for rainy day play

A Great Construction toy for 7 year olds

This was bought for our grandson for his birthday. He loves this type of construction concept and although he is only five he makes fantastic things. It was delivered very quickly, the price was very reasonable and worth it for the joy it gave him. Another real success!
