Great quality, realistic toy

Coming from a smaller toy skid steer from Cracker Barrel, I wasn’t expecting much from this one (especially for a low price). I couldn’t have been more wrong. This one has realistic looking hydraulics and all of the joints are riveted rather than screwed in place. These elements combine to make the bucket much sturdier and helps it to hold heavier loads than I expected. My son loves it, and honesty I’m glad it doesn’t have any drive motors on the wheels so he can play without having the clicking that usually follows rough play with driving mechanisms. A+

Son Loves It

It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be, and if my son raises the bucket too high, parts of the arm become detached, although they're very easy to fix. That said, he absolutely LOVES this toy. He carries it around with him everywhere he goes and is fascinated with how realistic it is. Skid steer toys are not as easy to find as other kinds of trucks, and, while I wasn't thrilled to pay $15 for such a little toy, it was ultimately worth the money for all the enjoyment he gets out of it.

poor design

Gave this skid loader to the grandson and within 10 minutes he came to me complaining that when he fully lifted the bucket, the rods of the hydraulic arms pulled out and were dangling in the air. Probably not an important design issue to the producers of the product, but it sure was a big deal to my 3 yr old grandson!

A little small but toddler son loves it, that's what counts!

Compared to the other construction toys our toddler son has, this one is a bit smaller. But he's obsessed with skid steers so when we got him this, he instantly loved it. I've seen some of the other reviews with people complaining about the size of this particular toy, but in the end we as adults should keep in mind, toddlers aren't hard to please when it comes to toys!
