Worth the wait…

I had this on my wishlist for 2 years and finally got it. After doing a kitchen remodel I obsessively looked for something JUST the rise size for the space above the fridge. Obviously this thing was perfect because of its adaptability. I had to order 2 to make it work and had about half of one box left over so it was a bit spendy (for me) but it’s a very high quality item and I love supporting small artisan shops.

Sturdy

I am very pleased with this wine rack. Nice packaging. Putting it together was very easy. Everything lined up perfectly. The grain of the wood is tight, I carefully ripped the edge pieces to fit in my cabinet better. The wood was easy to work with.

Seems to be missing pins

I really like this rack but there are never any extra pins included. On the contrary this set I bought seems to be missing two. Really kind of a bummer in terms of stability and all

Totally configurable!

I had a 24” wide space I wanted to use for wine bottles and nothing would fit AND give me the storage quantity I wanted. These were perfect! I’ve ordered an additional 9 bottle set as the 40 bottle left a little more room than I wanted. I loved that I could make it as wide or tall as I wanted. Perfect for your odd niches you need custom storage for!

Weak Quality Control

Like that it's a product made in the USA. However, the assembled rack kept coming apart in my refrigerator because some of the dowels were much smaller diameter than the holes they fit into. It was easy to solve the problem with a bottle of wood glue and some patience - but it would have been nicer if the parts fit correctly without resorting to an adhesive.

Customizability is an Advantage

I have purchased at least 4 sets of these wine racks over the 3x by this company. Generally, the dowels, spacing, holes, and wood are all good quality. Sometimes, small carpentry adjustments are required. I would not recommend going higher than 7 bottles without reinforcement. Being able to customize the pieces is the true bonus.
